Calling me reasonable seems like something you say about someone (me) who is scum, not town.

Just because I've said you sound reasonable as scum doesn't mean you don't say reasonable things as town? Nor does it mean I'm discrediting the actual reasonable thing you said.

I actually agreed with your point and didn't want you to be the lynch even if you are scum.

ok. i took it differently in the context of you calling me scum in the other posts.

Talk about this.
There's not much to talk about. RC is still going at shoshin hard even without the vote, and my initial reaction is that it probably isn't SvS.
What reason does he have to stop going at her hard until someone else comes in the thread? You haven't given good reason for him to shift to you, and it would be really awkward for them to both agree to invite each other and then shut up.
I think that maybe what you're missing is the meaning I place on language regarding probability. It may seem like I'm being purposefully vague, but when I use terms like "highly likely" or "probably" you can actually read into them my confidence levels.

probably, coming from me, means "more often than not" or "at least 51% of tine time" and as such implies a large percentage chance that the opposite is true. It's meaningful in so much that a single data point is meaningful to an overall regression.

My initial reaction is that it's probably not SvS. There were countless ways scum shoshin and rc could have entered this thread, and I think this option gets chosen less often than not. Additionally, I think being paranoid of one another, or using the other to generate discussion resulting in an exchange like this is likely from tvt and, to a lesser extent, svt. But by no means is this read (of them not being svs) something I would bet the game over on its own.

oh i guess i actually said "not very likely"

which, coming from me means like not more than a 75%ish chance of something being the case. I'd amend this to "probably not SvS" rather than "not very likely"

i understand that if you're town this is probably really stressful so sorry for that shoshin. i was already super on edge and when you started calling me scum I just saw red.
let's at least try to see if we can agree on who the hypothetical second scum is.

Play a good town game instead of spending more time talking yourself up than actually playing and there won't be any problems.

you don't even know any of my recent town games lol. if you've decided that my town performance hasn't been good without reading them then good for you!

Naw. I don't think your town game is bad. I don't know that your reads are bad. I know you have a tendency to lose your sense of self and get far more paranoid than you should be and you spend more time in your own head than you do in the game now. You play like you're so scared to be wrong you won't let yourself be right. I want you out of your head playing the darn game. I don't want a repeat of marathon, and that's where it looks like this is heading. There's nothing personal here, I respect you as a person and a player, I just also want you playing your best, and the paranoia kills me. So does the relentless talking yourself up.

I wouldn't be so scared to be wrong if people didn't policy lynch me whenever I was wrong.

does shoshin have a history of trying to policy lynch you?

I know that I do not.

Let down your hair, RC. This is a safe space. ;P

good talk
