L5, what made you think that the smiley faces might bother someone?
If you’re referring to my scumread on g3 because he had too many birds in his avatar, that was a joke.In post 94, Lady 4 wrote:Maybe not deliberately, but yes, I think small things like that affect people. Also, this is weak but don't think using them is a quality scum tactic at first glance. It's bound to rub some the wrong way.
The use of smileys isn’t alignment indicative. That wasn’t even part of the critique.
At least one person mentioned it.
The question isn't directed at me, but I want to point out that it seems to me like Lady 5 is specifically avoiding making non-joke posts. She's ignored my more serious posts twice now. Joking is fine but she doesn't have any non-jokey content yet.In post 96, Gentleman 3 wrote:Why does a joke suggest that she's afraid of making a read?In post 92, Lady 8 wrote:It seems initially scummy and lessens your chances of getting asked to the dance because it seems like you're afraid of engaging in a read of a player.
Possibly. And I can see the latter as appeasing. In post 97, Lady 9 wrote:I would think the smiley's would be a pre-decided roleplay quirk regardless of alignment. The potentially AI part was the asking if the quirk bothered anyone. In post 94, Lady 4 wrote:Maybe not deliberately, but yes, I think small things like that affect people. She literally just said it was...In post 99, Lady 8 wrote:That assumes it is a joke.
I actually don't think it's scum indicative but I feel like it could of been interpreted as one.In post 98, Lady 5 wrote:
Well if the post came off scummy that’s entirely your point of view! ^_^
I seen it as a joke.
I didn’t think they were serious of their read so I didn’t feel a reason to take it seriously.
^_^
My bad if it came up bad, don’t shade me though based off of that.
Every Lady has an equal chance to get asked out! ^_^
Do you actually think I’m that stupid to believe a Neutral exists in this setup? In post 99, Lady 8 wrote:That assumes it is a joke.In post 96, Gentleman 3 wrote:Why does a joke suggest that she's afraid of making a read?In post 92, Lady 8 wrote:It seems initially scummy and lessens your chances of getting asked to the dance because it seems like you're afraid of engaging in a read of a player.
This conversation is for the birds. In post 101, Lady 7 wrote:If you’re referring to my scumread on g3 because he had too many birds in his avatar, that was a joke.
I interpret that apathy as townie. I think that scum care a lot more about getting town read than town do right now.In post 102, Lady 9 wrote:The question isn't directed at me, but I want to point out that it seems to me like Lady 5 is specifically avoiding making non-joke posts. Nevermind. In post 104, Gentleman 3 wrote:She literally just said it was...In post 99, Lady 8 wrote:That assumes it is a joke.
Can you be more specific? What exactly do you find townie in her posts? In post 103, Lady 4 wrote:The more significant part of 75 was that I think their posts are town aside from this issue anyhow.

Now now. It would take more then that to make me slip if I was scum. ^_^In post 110, Lady 8 wrote:Nevermind. In post 104, Gentleman 3 wrote:She literally just said it was...In post 99, Lady 8 wrote:That assumes it is a joke.
I was referencing that if she was scum, it would of been a nice cover up.
Partially correct. I would argue that strong scum hunters and players with huge ego care about getting town read more.In post 109, Gentleman 6 wrote:I interpret that apathy as townie. I think the jokey/blending-in playstyle can be a strategy to get widely town read in itself though. In post 109, Gentleman 6 wrote:I interpret that apathy as townie. I think that scum care a lot more about getting town read than town do right now.
That it does. Good call.In post 112, Lady 7 wrote:Hey! This feels like your real tone.
Now now. We don’t talk about our mains here!In post 116, Gentleman 3 wrote:That it does. Good call.In post 112, Lady 7 wrote:Hey! This feels like your real tone.
Neutral is synonymous with null I would argue. In post 106, Lady 5 wrote:Do you actually think I’m that stupid to believe a Neutral exists in this setup? In post 99, Lady 8 wrote:That assumes it is a joke.In post 96, Gentleman 3 wrote:Why does a joke suggest that she's afraid of making a read?In post 92, Lady 8 wrote:It seems initially scummy and lessens your chances of getting asked to the dance because it seems like you're afraid of engaging in a read of a player.

That is not a main guess. In post 117, Lady 5 wrote:Now now. We don’t talk about our mains here!In post 116, Gentleman 3 wrote:That it does. Good call.In post 112, Lady 7 wrote:Hey! This feels like your real tone.
We are here to dance and have fun!
I think that's an oversimplification of the discussion. But anyway, offer something else to talk about if you have a problem with it.In post 120, Lady 8 wrote:Why are we arguing whether smiley faces are AI?
Gentleman 9 isn't even in the game lol.
