Hmm, maybe that was a conclusion I drew after the fact.

Somehow, this exchange was helpful to me. Thank you.
You're welcome? I think?

Why is this not a vote? C'mon, I'm a big person. I can take it.

[quote="In post 84I don't think you should "be willing to sheep" "for now"
The overuse of quotations here is strange. Like...

1. When you say "be willing to sheep", are you trying to say that sheeping in general is bad? Scummy?
2. When you say "for now", are you trying to say that there is a correct time to sheep and an incorrect time to sheep?
As votato correctly pointed it out to me, I did no such thing.
So you regret your vote now?

Sheeping is fine but not at the end of the wagon. Quotations are gods gift to humanity, don't knock it.

This is tunneling but for now i think it's town tunneling

Think my answer was pretty clear, Not sure what you don't get about it. Why would leave a vote on Quick when i got an answer i liked?

if you think this is not an answer, then i will ignore the rest of this conversation because it's not going any where.

This is a searching for town cred statement.
Which part is searching for town cred?

How is it searching for town cred?

What conclusions have you drawn from this?

If I regretted my vote, I would've unvoted. I haven't.

Also, I'm pretty solidly in the middle of the wagon if I recall correctly. 3rd out of 7 is hardly the 'end' of the wagon. So by your statement, what's the issue with my vote?

which part do you think is searching for town cred? Town cred is given not asked for so asking for it is generally bad.

Here's the progression:

Puppy votes for someone

Puppy later moves that vote to Quick in order to pressure him to answer a question

Puppy then both loves and hates Quick's answers, and unvotes

I'm asking why you were comfortable putting your vote in play prior to asking Quick a question but not after.

The questioning of your vote and calling it a "wagon" when I had an RVS vote on Puppy seemed disingenuous to me.

If votato's vote(71) was L1 then your vote(63) would be L2 if you were the vote before that. I'm not going to repeat my objection.

I would contend I wasn't asking for town cred, so my answer would be "no part."

You didn't really address the first two questions at all, for what it's worth.

Seems to be playing similarly to the last game I played with her in (it's technically still ongoing, but we're both dead and flipped so I'm kiiiiinda comfortable talking about it). She was town in that game. So I don't see any reason to not trust her.

A helpful note: if you're going to be trying to gauge someone's reactions to something, telling them that you're doing so usually muddies the results.

, assumes a towniness of your part that I don't feel is shared by the rest of the players.

I guess. I did not do a detailed vote history if that's what you're asking.

Like, even if this is true I'm not sure I understand the objection. If it's a 5-to-lynch wagon, third vote is dead center on the wagon. Saying it's "at the end" seems kinda arbitrary.

@NPOM: Is it scummier to be at the ends of a wagon than other positions? Also, where does the 'end' of a wagon start?

You shouldn't "ask yourself to spew town", you should just do things that are pro town rather than go around looking for people that think you are town.

Just don't understand the question. U want to know why i unvoted without immediately putting another vote out? i just did, no particular reason.

Just don't think this line of questioning is going to lead anywhere productive. Welcome to keep at it if u want, but u sound like town Blair to me and i think u're wasting ur time if this is the argument u want to be having with me.

We could be arguing over why you're not sheeping me instead!

I'm not sure I agree with that. I would say that it just leads to different kinds of WIFOM, but we can table that theory conversation for endgame after we win.
