I've played hidden role/identity board games before and much prefer the Co-op games where there is a traitor

Alright, but I think it's more common for scum as a whole to be scared of throwing out strong reads in fear of retaliation. Holding on to your RVS shows that, I feel.

You said I was bussing literally two posts ago how does you just change your mind on your motives. That’s not a natural progression at all.
Wanted to see how you would react to being called town for tryharding.
And what's your take on the reaction?

(sorry) assumption that active = Townie is too early.

But I don't think that usually comes from scum. Scum usually Null reads everyone so they can slide by without any resistance. And then "Null-scum" their partner in case they get lynched.
^this. There isnt much scum motivation to breezing into a thread, giving a quick townread, and disappearing. It felt careless/uncalculated. Thats why its a town ping.
Why not?
I easily see it as awkward scum not knowing how to contribute, throwing out townie points, in order to buddy up to a player and appear as though they are contributing.
You should probably check my meta before you say something like that. Just saying.

Also, this:

I almost never meta dive.
From memory the one time I meta-dived was to try and gain town points as scum, lol

They didn't mention it. Looks Scummy to me. I would assume they would say the same thing again... that I was TRing them for a shit reason... they didn't say that tho...

Lol, that game was funny. I pretended to be afk, as vanilla townie, to pretend as though I thought I was hammer-killed, when I in fact knew I wasn't hammered, in order not to get lynched.

Then I scum-read you heavily, and then you revealed you intentionally played scummily.

Then i lol-hammered scum.

That was an interesting game. My reads were all over the place though.

I don't know about you, but there's a lot of motivation for doing that for me. It:
- doesn't take much effort
- shows that you have an opinion

I find it ironic that you say “I like this post” when one of the parts of said post contained “I like this post”, which is the lowest form of demonstrating that one has an opinion. This is most certainly intentional, but what parts of the post do you find to be good?

This post never comes from scum.
Explain.
You can't throw out a statement like this without clarifying.
Scum doesn’t call the entirety of the active player list bad, or at least that none of them are “the best” players. I don’t think I’m the best player here but it’s unnecessarily confrontational and scum does not benefit at all from posting this, especially when QQ was never the focus of the thread at any time yet thus far.

I've found that players who gut-town-read short phrases such as "That’s lame. Fear active scum" tend to be town.

Also like MArashu's follow-up questioning to appear to be town-motivated "What's your take-away from this?"

This feels super defensive. I'm voting for QQ right now and am questioning you because I got an early bad ping, and I'm not liking what I'm seeing from you since. Every comment just feels really sarcastic or antagonistic and not really conducive to game-solving.

To be fair I was getting a similar town ping so I do see what you mean, but I wanted to hear what you had to say. I found the second bit to be the most townie though, because they weighed both sides of an argument and made a decision on the matter, being that the phrase was NAI. I’d say that they’re a town lean for me atm
