I've already stated I will submit vigilante mason though.

A role that is normal like but belongs to two players (a masonry with a shared vig shot, for example) is not a single normal role and is thus not an eligible submission.
Vigilante Mason is one role, with two separate powers.
The first power is the vigilante shot.
The second power is the masonry.

Yea, but the stump only gets one role to submit, and that'd require the second stump to submit mason backup vigi, when Jingle has already said he'd add a second mason just to make the role not useless.

Okie.

What does everyone else think? Since roles aren't assigned yet, I think this is a great opportunity to collaborate on the roles for the tree stumps to submit

I still think vigilante mason is really powerful, because it removes the aspect of a vigilante shot being on town, because now you have *two* people thinking about it, on top of the treestumps knowing about the vigilante shot, and able to direct it accordingly

I'm just not gonna sign any posts anymore, because it should be obvious when Vex or I is speaking.

The only problem I see with this however is that scum know what to be looking for in terms of crumbs, and then scum know more or less the exact setup.
I'm only sharing one of my ideas for a pick.

Another great combo is Weak Hider + Doctor

Hider claims d1 and announces his target before night, doctor stays hidden and protects the target.

Follow the cop.

No different from any open setup, really.

If the roles are sufficiently strong, scum knowing what they are isn't much of a benefit.

Yea, but we don't know what the scum have in return.

The entire thing is that scum know exactly what they're looking for, but we don't know what we're looking for.

keep in mind scum are gonna be given roles to counter whatever is submitted

In the case of the setup I mentioned, it doesn't really matter what they have.

Scum can't play with Hider results, and Hider can't be killed unless it targets non-town.

Then we lynch the scum.

I can think of like, 2 counters for Weak Hider + Doctor, and there's probably more

pretty sure a strongman targeting a hider just kills them

the only role i know that a strongman doesnt kill is a commuter, but that's by virtue of the role

nvm, it says so on the wiki:
A Strongman cannot be stopped from performing a kill, unless their target has commuted.

Maybe with a d1 claim, but not after they have a couple nights of results crumbed.

Then they're stuck playing catch up with their NK's.

Alternative, we make town very low powered so scum becomes low powered

ok, wiki actually gives conflicting information.
@mod will a strongman targeting a hider who is hiding kill them, or does the kill fail?
