I think its pretty straight forward.

1. hohum saw hewitt leave his room.
2. hewitt claims to be a miller,
His role PM says he will "turn up guilty in
alignment
investigations."
3. hewitt was not "alignment investigated", his room was watched.
4. hewitt really did leave his room.
5. hewitt must have a night action.

He can only confirm I didn't make an action.
I am basically assuming leaving your room means that you have performed a night action. I cannot think of a better interpretation.

We are mixing up hohum's role and flavour. He is not a cop.

@Looker - I was confused at who you suspect only because you just finished lynching Sajin - - I was wondering whether these suspisions had more of a basis that I could read into or if you were just pulling them out of your hat.

Either way, I'd like guidance to look into such a pairing.

@Budja - yep that's what I was thinking. He just "cleared" you of a night action.

@AA23 - ZazieR was Sir Thomas Legge, a Gun License Investigator. No one has claimed Inspector Maine, he might be a cop.

But I have something else for people to discuss. Here's my claim:
ThAdmiral wrote:you will be replacing Serplat and here is your role:

You don't trust this business at Shipwreck Island.
There was something about the instructions given to you by that Mr. U. N. Owen fellow that didn't feel right.

You are
Fred Narracott
, the boatman who delivered the guests to the island, and you have decided to stick around and try to help them.

You are the
Boatkeeper
. Every night you may choose someone who will spend the night on your boat instead of in their rooms. This means they will be protected and will also not be able to perform any night actions. However if the killer comes for that person and finds that they are not there they will know you were involved and will kill you instead.

additional information: to clarify you are "guest aligned"
I also have confirmation from the mod that if I pick the killer they will be protected and roleblocked.

Last night I chose Budja to take onto the boat. I believe I roleblocked him and he is the killer/scum, and that is why there was no kill last night.
Vote: Budja
. The first night I did nothing, because I wanted to see if there would be multiple killing factions/roles.

OK, I would have to assume I was most likely targeted by scum in that case (as Nikanor kindly said :P) or the scum where possibly blocked otherwise (quite less likely).
That is reasonable IMO as I was one of the more active players and haven't been attacked that much really.
Nikanor wrote: I greatly doubt Budja would have been a better scum target over our lovers.
Why? The lovers have been suspected by more and are probably easier to get lynched.

1. Your role PM basically says you are a miller and that you "turn up guilty in alignment investigations.". If you are town that
must
be true.
2. How do I know this?
3. How do I know this?

I am surprised people are so disinterested in the obvious contradiction between the role PMs.

I'm sorry if I'm not following then (and thank you for trying to answer)

But an investigative role has NOT been outted yet?

And Zwet was asking for results of said investigation? - is that not role fishing?

I'm confident that scum is amongst you and Hew, to be honest I'm confident that the scum are

hewitt is def. scum.
I am possible scum (in your eyes).

We are "guest-aligned" not "town-aligned". So it was a (mildly) possible scum-slip.

Hmm I think Budja's right, there is something weird going on.

Kreriov's (hohum's) claim:
You still have your investigative wits about you though and have taken it upon yourself to watch the other rooms. You are the Room Watcher, every night you can target a person and see if they left their room.
Hewitt's claim:
Due to being such a bastard you come across as inherently evil. As such you are the Bastard and will turn up guilty in alignment investigations.
I obviously don't trust Budja - unless someone else comes forward and says they could have blocked the kill, then I think my evidence is rock solid - but I'm now starting to wonder if there's something weird going on with hohum's role.

Budja offered the explanation that he detects night actions and that make sense. But my role PM says "Every night you may choose someone who will spend the night on your boat instead of in their rooms". I would think that means my target doesn't spend the night in their room, and yet hohum reported Budja in his room last night.

Perhaps hohum is an insane watcher? That seems a bit weird. Or hohum is lying scum, but that also seems kinda wacky.

well keep in mind I'm just a watcher. I can only tell whether or not he left the room and he didn't

it doesn't really clue me into alignment, just whether or not person X left the room.

It's a pretty worthless version of the tracker role IMO

My feeling is that I'd like to conclude me early last day thoughts on Budja

Vote:Budja

He immediately asked a new coming player that was not fully read up or familiar on the name claim debate, to claim - - I found it scummy, cheap, and curious as it was seemingly rushy. It also rebooted an issue of claiming which I already wasn't a fan of, and was rather reluctant to partake in.
===========
If that falls through,

PERHAPS looker/Zwet scum team? In the event that Zwet was possibly fishing for the investigative role today when he asked what the results were on checking if he and looker were lovers (who were not targetted last night).

But I don't think much of that - - outting one of them would out two of them - scum wouldn't be that stupid unless they wanted to take down a PR before leaving their third scum looking immune
