Some scum were probably doing that, yeah. *cough* Prozac *cough*

But a D1 town lynch does not happen without any scum involvement at all. There were legitimate reasons for town players to think Haylen was scum yesterday, obviously. There were also scum exploiting these incorrect town players to net themselves an easy mislynch.

And looking at the players who voted for Haylen, I can follow the town thought processes behind your vote and Slaxx's vote very well. PeregrineV's to a lesser extent. I have a much harder time seeing the town thought processes behind DeltaWave's vote, or UberNinja's vote. Ergo, I conclude that one or both of them is probably scum.

If I produced an example of a day 1 town lynch with zero scum on the wagon, would you please vote OBVIOUS SCUM POROCHAZ?

Do you think that everyone who voted for Haylen was town?

If not, who on the wagon is scum?

I'm going to say this again so that there's no confusion: I'm not voting CD because he wasn't on the Haylen wagon. I'm voting CD because he stayed off the Haylen wagon and is now trying to cash in MAD TOWN CRED with this "I told you so, now everyone follow me" attitude. D1, he kept himself off the main wagon, did jack shit other than to make a bunch of useless comments, and now is trying to be THE SUPER TOWN CRUSADER because he didn't vote for Haylen. A vote on Cooldog is a vote for justice.

And it's not like I've found UN scum for most of yesterday as well as, you know, so far as voting him over the two leading wagons yesterday...

There are definite problems with MoS in the way that he is playing but at the same time I am allowed to re-evaluate my stance and the fact that I find UN scum combined with the fact that a UN lynch gives a pretty good sign of Deltawaves alignment is what makes it a better vote.

Tajo didn't drop out, he was replaced, he hadn't posted in a while and I replaced in.

Because UN and Delta are like a gay couple within this thread. Look through UN's posts and see how hard he defends him.

What was the date of tajo's last post in the QT? What did he talk about when he was there?

What if UN flipped town? What would that tell you about Delta's alignment?

Wait, Porochaz replaced into a slot POPULAR TAJO flaked out of?

Can you confirm that for me?

Posted: Tue May 22, 2012 10:36 am
by Porochaz
He didn't. I replaced in quite early on.

It's more if UN flips scum than town, UN flipping town means I need to re-evaluate this game, possibly look at the people trying to lead town, like Mos and Grey. It wouldn't mean Delta was in the clear, to answer your question, but my reasons for having suspicion on DW would not make sense if UN was town. Although not as apparent, the love between UN and Delta isn't one way. I can't see either of them as scum trying to buddy to a town player, partly due to their experience but mostly due to the desperation in UN's posts combined with Delta's apparent lack of concern that there is someone who is doing the defending for him.

Nope. You will notice he had one post on April 21st and nothing else this year. That was his contribution to team mafia.

Oh MoS, never change.

In other news, what's your opinion on Prozac?

That's what I get for typing a post while not having slept for over 36 hours. -_-

As far as Prozac goes, I'm undecided. The spiteful player in me wants to go after him for being an idiot and actually thinking I might be scum, but the way he went about it strikes me as genuine, even if he clearly didn't think it through
at all
...Captain Murasa seems more likely scum out of that twosome, and I'd definitely be ok pursuing that today.

the spiteful player thing draws me as odd. I would rather lynch from my bottom 3 of the pool today though. I believe there is enough evedience for a Capt scum flip.

Captain Murasa wrote:Geez, be patient. I was at school :P
Anyway, I'mma do that stuf very soon. Also jasons case is very situational and really doesn't work if you consider a lot of the circumstances. UberNinja said scummy stuff at the start of D2, even if he's been a town read all game so far I still can't just brush it aside. I'll respond to the rest of his case soon.

would love to hear these circumstances

ah, you did in 969.. PLEASE stop replying within quotes, it makes it harder to reply.

what was bad about CoolDogs post./.. see this is why I think you are scum, you say things are bad but you don't expand on it and expect to coast away without care.

DeltaWave wrote:

It's probably easier to mislynch UN today that it is to mislynch me.
Haylen was after me for self-preservation reasons and Glork ultimately decided to move away from my wagon at the last moment, so he probably wouldn't have voted me today. This means that a mislynch on me will be very difficult today, but a mislynch on UN is possible. Simple strategy.

bolded for WTF... how do you know it will be a mislynch.. oh thats right, sxcum know already who is not on their side and waht will and wont be mislynch.. yea, you die too.

I would not hop on a wagon, due to events in other games... completly circumstantail. And have no bearing in this game whatso ever... I would be interested in seeing though.

ever heard of scum buddying town?

Alright, at the end of this, though I don't agree with all UberNinja says, He has moved up into the light green in my book, as has Iamausername. Still not the strongest town vibes from them but I can see what they are saying as coming from a town sided point of view.

Just because other pepole might have made the argument before doesn't invalidate the argument.

I like this, it really sounds like it came from town.

Let's not go down the meta happy trail. I have seen a trend in team mafia where people go supper crazy over last years meta (check almost normal, I think). This ends here. Scum can hide behind these bullshit meta arguments and I'm not going to let this game divulge into "I can quote more games than you! HA, you are scum".

-------------------------

Over defensiveness is a scum tell. I don't think it can necessarily be applied here, but if one paragraph can refute an argument just as well as a 5 paragraph wall, use the one paragrapgh. Hold off all of the links if you are pressed. It makes the game easier to read and harder for scum to hide.

I thought this was kinda scummy because he's kinda parroting what everyone else said but changing the wording a bit to make it look like he wasn't.

I found this townie because it really sounds like something a townie would say in that context.

Not a strong town read D1 but enough that you declared as town MANY TIMES! CAUGHT IN YOUR LIES

Lynch this now please!!!
