hence why I said one of ns/Bulge is scum

since no one is discussing

I was just gonna wait and see if anyone else saw where I was coming from, but now I don't really care about those two unless you can convince me you're not scum

InflatablePie wrote:and no because no one discussed it and I'm a little preoccupied at the moment so I'm not sure I care about ns/Bulge. neither of you really commenting is a nulltell at best.

Hedging on notscience and The Bulge, between "one is scum" and "I don't care"/potentially "null".

InflatablePie wrote:Bulge's post reads kind of oddly to me actually, right after I posted that

not sure if it's a playstyle thing and it's independent of Pants being scummy; don't think someone would react like that when I'm pressuring his buddy? especially deflecting onto himself? the last point is also valid in itself as well.

eh. I dunno. mental note for later I guess.

The Bulge read changes slightly. Nothing big.
But the way he explains it is hedging again, and he doesn't give a clear statement as to his thoughts on Bulge.

InflatablePie wrote:if Pants is scum, my pressure should be enough to keep him on his toes for a bit. worst-case, if I get lynched later on because of my interactions with him, he'll be suspected heavier when I flip town.

that said, Pant's comment above on why my post was scummy, where he focuses on lack of vote and doesn't realize I'm asking a separate question while also beginning scumhunting/discussion-prompting, is giving me some townvibes. enough to pull me off him and stop tunneling for a bit. I can always vote him later.

vote The Bulge

Hedging on Pants, in the first paragraph he explains Pants as scum and in the second he says townvibes. No clear statement/conclusion.

InflatablePie wrote:actually I think I played with Mala-scum once

hard to say if this is the same Mala (I don't remember things well, nor do I go back to past games for meta) since IIRC she was super busy with work and stuff, but despite her feeling off and while I agree with Pants saying she doesn't stand out... she could be town?

...

I quick-ISO'd Bins and Bulge and think Bins is town and Bulge looks better on a re-read for some reason?

Hedging on Mala big time. No strong commitment for a lot of reads, particularly this one.
Is still hedging on Bulge read.

first person to scream OMGUS gets a cookie.

Unrelated to the rest, but reads as self-aware scum.

InflatablePie wrote:tree is ~townvibes~ for some of his non-spammy statements (and even the spam feels slightly townie for some raisin). Bins is also town on gut, already talked about Bulge and Pants... but again, I don't have a concrete townread and I'm probably wrong and the mod is probably laughing at my terribleness.

... bleh, maybe maru's a better lynch today tbh but the way BBT's phrased his accusations towards me (see: most of ) rub me the wrong way. it's the whole buzzwords thing all over again, instead in a more jumping-to-conclusions phrasing way and I want it dead. also we get pretty much no info from a Maru lynch if we assume either lynch is a scum lynch because he hasn't done diddly.

Hedging on BBT before his likely lynch and townflip.
In a related way, he's hedging on Maru as a counter to BBT.
Again, lots of talk about reads, but he keeps talking back and forth about them and it not only seems purposely confusing as to where he stands, but as scum how it looks like a lot of content in general obscures how he's avoiding taking a stronger position.

InflatablePie wrote:mala, I may be biased because I think tree is pretty town but seriously, buddying ns this hard is making me really want to lynch you

Continuing to say things about possible Mala scum but never following up on it, just making sure she remains lynchable.

InflatablePie wrote:also and seem like a slip?

we can lynch mala for hammering and generally being abrasive/super-buddying ns, but only the first is a valid point and I would
think
that scum wouldn't make such a blatantly scummy hammer but w/e

Hedging on the reasons themselves for Maru being scum, hedging on Mala, etc...

InflatablePie wrote:well, my gut is saying tree is town, because as I said, I'm assuming we're on the same page logic-wise. it's possible we could not be and tree's just being vague-scum but I cant shake my bias. so on paper he's null-scum, by gut he's town/null-town.

Finally trying to start and go back on his long townread on me.

Idk about you guys, but reading through his whole ISO myself, I can't help but think it's a lot of scum trying not to commit strongly to too many townreads or scumreads so he can vote town without taking much heat for it. What I quoted isn't the whole thing, but just scroll through his posts for yourself and I'm pretty sure you'll see what I'm seeing here.

tree wrote:I like Pie's response a bit, but I also don't like his attempts to explain away certain parts of his ISO that were, in fact, hedging. Just because you admit to it for one post doesn't mean other just as bad instances of it aren't the same thing- hedging.

VOTE: notscience

Mala is a very strong townread here. I can see notscience as scum and I trust her ability to read him.

im not going to selfhammer as town this time because ive learned that no matter how bad a situation looks and no matter how impossible it seems not to stop a lynch
people will always blame everything on selfvoting ignoring the context
there is always a way out!!!
