I don't think we should have been so quick to dismiss the Watcher results.
IF Hectic is Town I HIGHLY DOUBT there's two other Town PRs besides me that targeted Hectic.
Chances are one of Morning Tweet or davesaz is Scum.
Why are people ignoring this?
I hadn't seen this discussed at all so I wasn't aware there was one
Yeah three people targeting Hectic is super interesting

Ok someone help me.
The neighborizor is enabled by a townie that's died
Does that make that actual neighborizor more or less likely to be scum?
Also, how does it work, does that player sit in the hood, bringing people in, or by targeting them does it slowly build up, or is it mod choice

I don't understand anything you just asked

I
think
it depends on the mod. Some neighbourisers make new hoods while some add to the same one.
What do you think of Dave, everyone who's online?

high involvement with the Alo wagon, which is pretty meh in hindsight but i put him in my weak town yesterday for the tunneledness. today he mostly has just questioned bob if i recall correctly.
i also believe he's still an advocate for the SvS possibility alongside Aaron. so both dave and Aaron have expressed some amount of favour towards an Alo/Bob/chem scumteam. I dont like the SvS angle

I want to wagon Dave. Gotta go now but I saw stuff earlier I didn't like.
Holden was calling me up last night telling me he saw Dave in his dreams, apparently there was a strongman roleblocker involved and Dave was laughing maniacally. Need to ask him about that later.

Sounds great, AaronFF. Seeing you post has already brightened up my day.
Not quite true, very easy to make even less true.
What was your read on Hectic end of D1. Please give evidence using quoted posts if possible.

If I am reading this right were you talking about Aloratom/Aaron team or did you mean Chemist/Alorotom or Chemist/Aaron? On day 1 Aloratom and Aaron voted each other or were you getting the impression there was distancing going on?

since we have enabler whether its a scum role or town role. We can assume that it was intented to reduce the size of any neighbourhood.
Either way its a pretty moot line to follow. As more inquiry into any neighbourizer today just helps the scum

Reminder once again (I think? or did I decide not to post it?) that scum watchers are a thing. Wake is far from conf here, and could be the non-town targeting Hectic, if there is one. I tend to think town though because I think scum would prefer to keep their watcher hidden and kill the found PRs.
My thoughts are that we should leave all 4 of those players alone. (myself, Hectic, Wake, Morning Tweet)
It would not be the first time I've seen multiple PR target the same player. IIRC in one game I saw the same player get targeted by 7 (!!) town PRs the same night.

A consensus along what lines? Has anyone else examined the possibility of scum watcher?

@Dave Nearing end of d1 i found Hectic to be about second least likely on tictac-Chem wagon to be scum. Admittedly i was considering him very likely, bordering on conf town at one point, although i kinda realize now that he could have planned out a bus on tictac. i still find that to be less likely than other options
Would do Holden as well. He seemed to have dropped off the radar after a lot of early shitposting
Cat started this wagon early on, earlier than we had an idea tictac was going to disappear. It's a vote for a lurker as a switch-up from Gamma since Gamma went V/LA. I don't really pull anything AI from this, gun to my head maybe a slight edge to town.
In post 450, SirCakez wrote:I like this tictac wagon. The inactivity is off-putting. VOTE: tictac
My SR has somewhat lessened on Hectic; I feel I'm confusing playstyle for scumminess.
SirCakes joins Cat on the very next post, leaving Hectic's wagon in favour of this one. I believe his reevaluation of Hectic is towny, although I don't have anything to say about the entrance to the wagon itself.
<Wake joins the wagon here. He moves to Alo later, though>
In post 515, Hectic wrote:tictac's play so far is a stark contrast to their last 3 town games, and fits more with their most recent scumgame.
In the town games, they have a lot of thoughts, and are straight in there from the start with the solving. Scumgame has less reasoning provided with posts.
In this game, they didn't make any attempts to solve and have only fluff posted, which is the polar opposite of their town meta.
VOTE: Chemist1422 I don't have much time nowadays but hopefully this will flip scum and clear me!
Hectic metareads tictac's replace-out to be scum-indicative, adding tons of fuel to the fire. This is the turning point for me where I think if Alo is scum, scum is going to jump on tictac. If tictac is scum, I also think they'll bus. I've townread Hectic for a long while now, so I'd be hard pressed to see this as scum-motivated.

Good enough for me
VOTE: Chemist1422
Profii goes with it. I don't really have a comment on this, other than he doesn't seem to care to respond to my posts which makes me feel a lil left out (;﹏;)
I don't see anywhere Gamma mentions anything about tictac in his ISO past RVS stage, so I'm going to take his second vote as the latest vote, even though he was technically first.
His reasoning given is "It's less bad than the Alo wagon" and "I don't get why people are voting Alo". He puts Chemist at L-1 without saying a single positive thing about the wagon, but I'm gonna assume he read through Hectic's case in 515 and agrees with it or has at least some kind of good reason to vote there. I award him no town points for lack of effort, which is certainly anti-town and leaves him towards the bottom of my reads
Overall I don't find the entrances themselves to be as important as my deduction that there's scum on the wagon combined with my townreads on the wagon
here's my comparison on which members of the wagon I believe most likely to be scum:
Profii>Gamma>Cat>SirCakes>Hectic (>Wake)
Interesting that you consider the possibility of a scum watcher, i pretty much have been writing wake off as conf town. why wouldn't scum!wake just keep those results to himself? plus i independently had him as my strongest TR prior

That setup spec there bad and that why would scum watcher out his results.
4 players of which at most 2 can be scum. Would scum still have 2 roles that scum would allow them to have an action that could be tracked
So any setup spec helps scum and we shouldnt be givng scum any clues that could help them discern those roles and town players that have pr

This is me noting that I asked about the neighborizor and I was surprised you didnt understand what I was getting at, particularly as Hectic did
Then when I clarified instead of engaging and saying "ah right well I think... " or perhaps even saying "there really is no way to be sure"
Or anything like that, which would directly answer my query
Instead you decided to change the subject entirely to the watcher potentially being scum. I do agree, that wake could be making a totally balls out play and we cant rule out scum!wake
But let's be real about it, he hasnt said if he is gated (I'm not asking) so he is probably going to provide more results, if he doesnt, that's scummy. If he doesnt die, that's scummy. We will deal with it then.

How does everyone feel about lynching hectic to clear wake as town ?
Posted: Sun Apr 26, 2020 10:04 am

I see the neighborizer as being completely irrelevant for scumhunting. Either alignment is possible. Either alignment would target a broadly-townread player.
Pedit: no, that would not clear Wake as town. Where did that idea come from??

It wouldn't 100% clear wake, but if you are scum watcher the optimal play is to check your pal - that way, a no result is actually a useful (and good result) because it means you know no one is going to turn up in the thread and say "hard claim guilty"
Given the way Wake has played this, he could have "defensively" checked Hectic, got 2 hits, they've then pooped their pants because youd have thought 1 would be incriminating so why not full claim and goad out the cop claim and trade 1 for 1

So you'd lynch me with the intention to flip me as town, so that you can clear the town watcher that is probably the nightkill tonight? Am I understanding that correctly?

Also, your logic is very flawed. It's entirely possible scum!Wake picks town with his watcher ability. Why are you so sure he would pick his scum buddy "defensively"?
I'm really struggling to see how this line of logic comes from town.
