You clearly don't know me. For someone who values meta so highly, you have done zero research.

Timeater, if you want Junpei to say something, you will unvote if some stray poster comes in here and hammers. Ya, it has been decent. I thought it was a fail hamemr on your part, but it is a gambit so all good.

Did anybody else realize that Junpei used the time, that he was, according to himself, going to use for "analysis", for more "later! Promisse!" posts.

SD can you just kill someone please

it will confirm you aren't retarded scum with more than one rank of dayvig (further ranks are only meant for non-massclaim games)

IMO Junpei, Peregrin, or Mist.

Scratch mist, replace with kiwi or OS

Why do you want to kill the Derp towns for the reason they are derp? >_>

Peregrine shot is a bad idea because he is a barbarian mystic and SD will likely kill himself. Ideally if Peregrine and Junpei are scum it would be kill Junpei, lynch Peregrine, but SD wants to wait until tomorrow so..

Oh true dat. Anyway I am 100% who is going to die tonight. Well, 99% sure.

I might have been reflected last night, we'll see tonight. I want blood, and lots of it.

People like Junpei keep going on about how THIS GAME CANNOT BE BOINKED WITH A MASSCLAIM, WELL GUESS WHAT IT CAN. Just pisses me off than I'm the only one gungho about it.

@AV - Do you know if you get reflected?

No, you don't get told directly that your skill was reflected, but you can infer it dependent on the nature of the skill:

Some examples:
(1) If I were a cop, I would get a result on my own alignment, since my investigation had been redirected onto myself. I would know I'd been reflected.
(2) If I were a vig, I would wind up dead the next day because my shot would have been reflected back at me. I might infer that this was the case.
(3) If I were a Mafia Framer, I would appear guilty to cops that night. However, I would
not
be told that the skill was used on me instead of my target.

Sooo what exactly theorhetically, would happen if neurotoxin would be applied to a target that had an active smoke and mirrors up?

Thats a bit of a different scenario isn't it? Would the neurotoxin nullify itself out then still be re-applied the next night? Kinda confusing.

Or am I correct in assuming that the chain would end when its reflected back to the assassin because it'd be like a roleblocker blocking himself before he blocked?

or something O.o

I don't really want to talk about specific role-on-role interactions.
I will say that I'm using NAR, and that you can probably figure it out from that.

by Timeater
But I would argue that since this is coney island your normal-game examples are bunk, and even NAR is kinda whack. Its an open game. Should be clear.

by AurorusVox
Sure, maybe I need to clarify what the equivalents would be:
I'm treating a Delayer as a type of Roleblocker, and a Reflector as a type of Redirector.

You can use NAR to figure out the rest. I mean, that's what I used to work through role interactions when making the setup. It's not like I'm hiding anything, I just don't want to say "This is what will happen when X" because its up to you as players to come to those conclusions yourself.

thanks :D

sorry for being persistent just like to be clear about mechanics

No problem.
I've spent a lot of time with the setup so I have a very clear understanding of what skills are treated as in terms of NAR. I forget sometimes that I need to make it a bit more explicit for you guys as players ^^"

Point is: If I shoot Per
now
it's well possible that I suicide instead.
Similarly Mist is at least a very bad shot (or lynch) now because of Life Drain.
@Aurorus: As what kind of skill would Life Drain be treated in NAR?

Junpei is our lynch for today anyway, no need to vig him. If he survives because of Faith he's confirmed scum nontheless.
I could vig Rice, but that's not so urgent and definitely not worth giving up my cop sanity for.
Per is also a bad investigatio target because of "Smoke and Mirrors" (damn, he could even be a pain to lynch, but that's to be seen tomorrow). But with Junpei dead every one else is a good target.
