This is making me wonder if my reads are just screwy. Usually when my reads are screwy, I have a scum player in my town pile.

you are never *this* concerned whether your reads are screwy,as town... cause you are normally very confident.
this is why i don't trust you.

I am not a big fish here, and this is not a small pond. My confidence came from tons of meta experience with the same players game after game after game.
I love the lack of certainty. I love the confusion. I love that I can't usually completely solve games on day 1 or 2.
It's frustrating sometimes, but it is way more interesting playing here.
If you want links to some MS games where I floundered for most of the game and town lost I'll be glad to provide them. I'll even link a couple perfect town wins, because those occasionally happen too, when town as a whole played well.

Synch is partially achieved. We're leaning toward a Nati vote, but I don't want that wagon to take off too quickly. Need more posts from several players.

it is different, for sure.
i guess my issue is, is that i have all of Nat, Brian, and Titus, as town. as well as Rebel and RT. This is why i'm getting my back up with you.. you seem just too uncertain on all of those players.

UNVOTE:
VOTE: Nati
There is a huge disparity with his reads and I am getting a feeling that it is due to Nati-scum trying to setup his end-game. I will run through the evidence when I get a bit more time to put it together well.
@NS -
"Sitting through D1 with only 2.5 non-null reads until DAYS before the deadline where she tries to setup today's lynch on me" - This is a playstyle. I can see it coming from town. Allow me to elaborate, you are upset that you are apparently her only strong scum-read. A few other players IIRC have also had expressed difficulty at getting solid reads in this game, shouldn't you then also be going after them?
"Fluffing incessantly while being adamant she's not(scum trying to look busy)". This is subjective, I didn't feel like her posts were particularly fluffy, again its due to playstyle.
"Contradicting herself by saying she's scumhunting and not fluffing and then admitting to coasting D2 in an attempt to appease.(scum trying not to let their lies blow up in their face)" - She never admitted to coasting. I think you just read that post you quoted incorrectly.
@Artemis -
Really? You make a whole dozen string of posts and completely ignore/toss aside my posts and SPECIFIC questions directed toward you?

Uncertain of "all those players"?
- Rebel Town
- Rail Tracer Town
- Brian Null (fell a little since day 1)
- Nati leaning scum (because I couldn't spot him as scum on open 527, Nachol was on his scum team, and I'm willing to trust Nacho and RT's read)
- Titus null town (because I'm trusting your gut on this one)
I don't trust ALL your reads that I've disagreed with, but that one I know my biases could be playing into my read.

i'm currently thinkinggggggggg nati+titus+mario still makes the most sense as a scum team at this point.

You know what's not a playstyle? Trying to claim she wasn't doing this when she obviously was.

So what happens if Nati flips scum? Do you drop the Titus scumread?
Titus is where you lose me. I think Prohawk or Brian both make more sense for the middleman.

DB was misrepresenting me with it. I thought he could have been scum for it. I was wrong. I can't be wrong?
So here is the thing Brian... your trajectory doesn't fit your story. If you honestly thought he was scum for "mis-repping you", why didn't you vote him when he first did it in...
152 to which you commented in
156? In fact after you commented on the mis-representation you still put him in your top 4 town pile in post
214...
I guess I can understand that he didn't vote you until
#328, which could have been the straw that broke the camels back, however, again you waited to vote him until
#390. Yes, that was your next post in the thread, but a quick search tells me that you were on-site and making a substantial number of posts in the time between post #328 and #390. My hypothesis being that you waited for more support for the wagon before wanting to push it which fits the bill of cautious scum quite nicely.
P-EDIT: NS, let me actually read your case to which I have admittedly skipped due to me writing you both off a town.
I was mostly observing to see how his perception of the game would change. I had already tried to clear up the misinterpretation earlier with HP, so I didn't understand why he was bringing it up again. As for 328, yes, that was what led me to vote for him.
I can't explain the post differential. It could have been anything ranging from real life responsibilities to me just not paying attention to the game. Sometimes, I like to peruse the general discussion forum, I've joined multiple games, and I sometimes avoid games that give me unneeded frustration or stress (I've been lost and confused at times during this game and this is why I think Mario could be town).

Just curious, ProHawk, how does me lynching notscience set up my endgame? I mean, of all the sorts of people I'd want to kill, notscience is really low on the list.

*shrug* i'm not attacking titus today, mainly because i think titus's play always looks somewhat scummy. nati today, mario slot tomorrow? figured out the last one after that, i guess.
