So I'm a Town One-shot Vengilante.
A hybrid of a vengeful and a vigilante.
I have a gun that I can use at any time, and I can also kill people within 48 hours of me dying.
I'm claiming right now because a) I don't want the town to mislynch, and b) I don't want to have anyone replace into my slot with the terrible position I've left them in. That would just be mean, and the scum would never let up on their case.
I was trying to slightly bait a night-kill from the scum earlier in the phase when, in a conversation with TPTG, I hinted that my role was vital to the town. The game slowly deteriorated from there after people started voting for me for appearing scummy, and whenever I logged on to try and clean things up, they relentlessly voted me because I acted as the easy target.

So yeah, there's my claim.
I'm also open to suggestions for kills, I just hope the scum don't have a BS role like day-roleblocker, or dead-roleblocker, but my guess is they do...

Also, if you really want me to, I can just kill the next person who votes me, or one of the people already on my wagon. It might have something to do with probable scum on my wagon who took the easy "zero-explanation" obvious lynch. It might not.

I also kind of wanted to give the town this claim so we can gain more information earlier on from kills that the town can direct themselves.
We could even hold a separate vote on the person who we want to kill with my gun.

I think claiming vengilante here is fine and I also think the shot should be used now that you did, you know my scumreads, who are you thinking of?

This might be the one claim that would be most beneficial to town.
I knew I would have to make it sooner or later.
That, or the town would see my death, and help with my kill.

I don't know how to explain my suspicion, but multiple of his posts appear to be distant from the game's subject matter. On one occasions, I believe, he's slipped by forgetting certain information in the subject he posts about/ the accusations he makes. I remember the thing he tried to pull on Vonflare due to his stance-change on molla's ability usage. I really didn't like that apparent spark he was attempting to create. It might've been due to skimming as well...

I also didn't like that he responded to my post about him subtly suggesting something. Considering how the game was going for me, It would've been better if he dismissed that post as me being stupid.

Yeah, I was skimming. After all of that when I found out I had missed molla's full claim I went back and reread more closely.

The two things I don't like are your opposition to neighbours claiming, and the reads-list mostly without reasons for me to view your reasons for finding people town.
Your list lacked suspicion overall. Why?

I'd rather you go after one scum-read you have instead of just grouping town and null together.
Plus, what's up with the order of your list? It's really weird. There isn't a spectrum or anything. It's basically just a bundle of names. randomly put together.
How did you construct your list?

It was just people I was thinking about at the time/who stood out in some way in my mind. I am perfectly happy to talk about any of those reads at more length.

Why is there a lack of scumreads? Does it have something to do with lack of evidence to find people scummy?

You are the first person to ask me questions about my reads.

There is a lack of scum reads because I feel like a little over half of the players aren't even playing the game yet. I had completely forgotten that Jackal was even in this game, you have people like Vyse and Rubeus who just keep promising content but never deliver. In general I am finding most of the interactions I am seeing people have as town so far, but I don't have nearly enough on a lot of the player base to read them one way or another.

I am adding Soren to my scum reads based solely on his posting over the past few pages.

So I have 3 scum reads at the moment (strongest-weakest) Vonflare-Soren-You (Lucian).

I truthfully want an explanation for all of your reads. If you have the time, of course.
Especially your scum-reads.

Lucian ... my man. You gotta learn how to play like you don't have a PR. This is two games now where you had a super useful role and out of fear that you would let that slip somehow you ended up looking mad scummy. Back to the drawing board on scumreading.

Nobody ever learned anything by killing an inactive, and I don't think they ever will.

It would be much better if everyone gave me three names.

I don't like to lurk regardless of alignment because I play this game for fun, but if I'm in a towngame and a scumgame at the same time and I decide to lurk in a scumgame for whatever reason, then I'd also lurk in my towngame so people who check my activity won't catch me lurking in my scumgame.
I'd generally take people's RL business at face value because I've never lied about it whether town or scum, and it's more hoping that people wouldn't go that far abusing the online message board format to that extent.

Not true. This post is a mix of scummy and stupid.
In a majority vanilla game, ~3/4+ of the player base are vanilla. The chance of drawing town PR would be about the same or even lower than drawing scum. So your statement would hold true because being in the top quadrant is special.
This game is "no-vt" so being a PR in this game is as special as being vanilla in another game; the most boring role in this game is still guaranteed PR.

Now having said that, plenty of town PRs replace out (whatever their reasons are). The games (that are mostly vanilla) are balanced with PRs, and if you're too busy with RL you SHOULD replace out because you're not utilizing your role to its supposed potential and tipping the game over to the scum side.

At this point I even wonder if you're intentionally putting up a poor defence for Vyse to get him lynched faster.

My three names are Vyse, Vonflare and Drixx, the first two are conditional on asking for a claim and evaluating it before proceeding.

vigs are great for policy kills and inactives have the same chance as everyone else of being scum, only they're harder to catch bc they arent posting
the game would literally be ok without Vyse/Dani/Swagrid/Jackel bc they are barely useful and barely posting but still posting enough to not need to be prodded like PV should be (4 days since his last post so he might even be replaced), and they're all equally likely to be scum to boot
