This looks bad in retrospect. I think it was Luke who mentioned it at the time but I don't see how these thoughts are complex and so the town read feels unjustified.

I was talking about it
in reponse
to DP discussing it. I get defensive because it feels like you're picking up on almost everything I post that you can have a go at.

If they're actually just neighbor VT here they're playing exceptionally badly as either alignment.
I'll leave a 0 star review on their yelp page.

There some reason you didn't find Mala's announcement weird or anything? They claimed they could talk to dead people and only really retracted it a lot later.

Their reasoning is pseudo reasoning because it takes shape in the form of what would be interesting rather than what is likely.

Also, haven't really come to a conclusion in terms of why Bell was targeted other than they were very likely to be town upon Math's flip.
But so was Pooky? So, yeah.
Pedit - I was literally just looking at those posts, too.

Had we limmed Corwin d1, Taly probably would never have been gladiated and Frogs would have likely been spewed town from 2080.
But yeah, I agree. I really don’t see anything particularly complex about Corwin’s posting. It’s very superficial.

maybe bell couldve been killed for his reads..?
im not sure like
he had a heavy focus on taly in the start, which makes me want to say taly fucked up in the pt, but then i think deeper, why would a team with taly on it want to so obviously kill bell? like it wouldve just easily pointed towards taly, so i dont really think scum wouldve wanted to go for bell there out of everyone if taly was a scum.
i think maybe those posts i quoted were "interesting" reads bell had though, and I think it could be worth it to look further into them. the malcolm one in particular, while malcolm was being wagoned at the time, the wagoning felt pretty mindless so bell giving an actual reason on malcolm feels a bit more out there compared to some other wagoners. >.>

Exactly, limming Bella today is anti-town when we can potentially save Drap tonight or confirm Bella!scum or know that a strongman exists and this is the only way to do all of this.
Is this a scum claim? In no world is not flipping Bella the right thing to do.

If PD dies tonight we flip bella, 100%.
If Bella is town doc PD doesn't die. Bella dies or someone random dies.
That's the point.
This is bad
Let's say we go through with this plan you've outted to the entire player list. Why do you think scum make the play that you've outlined that "confirms" two slots as town?
They don't. They kill someone else and force us to deal with this the next day phase.

Also like the handwringing over Drap dying if Bella flips scum is nonsense. That's a good fucking trade town should want to make every time. Only scum would be against this trade I feel.
If Bella flips town then there's zero chance Drap is killed because we'll have to flip him next.

I can't see Bella flipping town and would still advocate for us eliminating there. Mislim Bait's arguments are correct. DP is still town though.
In some convoluted scenario where Bella somehow ends up being town here, is it not possible scum would just eliminate Drapion anyway to misdirect us so we end up voting out Bella tomorrow after all? Or if they fear Drapion could be protected, would they not just vote somewhere else entirely?
Still struggling to see past a Bella vote as the way to go.

Agreed, feel like this alternative approach just gives scum a good chance to switch up their own play to deceive us. Especially when said plan is being stated openly for scum to see.
