Does your role encompass something beyond omnipotence (as in, modkills). Say... omniscience?
If I did to some degree, what would you think then?

Not much, I'd just start speculating wildly about your role. Example: maybe you're less a benevolent god, more True Neutral- ie trying to keep things even. Like Loki. Side with the underdog, etc.

In light (or not? I guess I just feel it's godly to refer to it) of all of this, what do you think of the fact that after GNR was quicklynched (but before the reveal), that I was absolutely confident that GNR was town?

I cannot believe that it took me this long to even suspect such a thing.
Okay then. My next question is this, and I realize that I'm using alarmist phrasing, but oh well.
Are you antitown, or is there a heavy limit on your knowledge?

For the former, are you in essence asking whether I win with the town or if I'm a third party (with say, a different win condition)? And you might want to expand what you mean about the latter.

I'm asking whether you win with the town, or not. I guess protown third is feasible, but I am literally asking whether you have a town win condition. It seems unlikely if you have role and aligment knowledge.

What non-town-win-condition player do you think would answer "No" to that?

Hey guys.
Guys.
Phil is obviously silly town. He's ridiculously transparent.
Stop wagoning him. You too, Amrun. Look at motivations and stop being stubborn, etc.
Kthx.

One who is forced to be truthful due to their role? It's worth a shot, at least...

That would actually be really hilarious. I'm busting my gut over here at the thought of that. Come to think of it, I'd actually really like to have that role.
Before I consider answering your questions, when was it exactly established you were a third party/Survivor? Are you either of those? (Entertain me, I want to hear your answer.)

At least we're agreed on something. I realize you want me dead for my flip. Surely there's some investigative role around here who could deal with that for you, without the inconvenient "dead townie" part.
PEdit: I am neither a third party, nor a survivor, regardless of accusations. I merely have a role that would synergise really well with those, and shares a name and a core mechanic with a third party role posted on the original worst roles thread.
Yeah, it doesn't look good for me.

Just with the inconvenient "lose the investigative ability" part. Not worried about that, are you? You're just worried about you dying. Which would be consistent with Survivor.
ShadowGirl, I think this is what you're looking for:
He claims green goo
I call him a survivor

Except not.
We have roles that are clearly modified from the original thread (see the Guilty Child, for example) and you're wagoning based off a role claim.
Off with you, sir. Scumhunt. Or just claim scum, I'm -' '- this close to wanting you dead.
Late comment: huh, Pokerface, we'd already established between the two of us (and I'd stated in thread) that BB isn't going to recruit a second player; the odds of getting scum (with access to our QT, to boot) are not worth the relatively low odds of recruiting more town
Plus as someone who was recruited into the game, I can tell that it takes a lot of goodwill to play in a game you did not sign up for, so let's be kind and not inflict this game on anyone else.

Gack. I genuinely forgot that.
Well, I guess killing me is indeed the logical course of action for today. I wish I didn't see that, but oh well.

Not just the claim. His behavior is consistent with Survivor behavior. Let me find the links where I show that he's 1) always claiming "I'm not 3rd party" but not "I'm not scum", and more importantly, 2) extremely worried about his own survival at the expense of other things. There's one of those latter ones right above, where he says "investigate me" without worrying about losing our investigative capabilities. I'll show you more in a minute or twenty.

Which would also be consistent with "I don't trust any of you guys" town. Hello? Town doesn't particularly want to be lynched and doesn't walk deliberately up to the noose for a lynch they are sure will hit conftown. To assume they would do so is stupid. I may play self-sacrificing town (see Blood Bowl Mafia for rather glaring points of that, though none that dealt with me being lynched, just rather likely to be the NK target because I don't get lynched anyway and I'm rambling), but most town ends up being selfish and not wanting to be lynched.

Shadowgirl, are you getting regular info from the mod and/or sharing a qt or something with him? Heck, are you a co-mod?

Yeah, it doesn't look good for me.
Just so everyone's aware, I asked for mod confirmation on my modkill ability and it works regardless of the other person's role.
One more question that I hae:
I can't remember how explicitly you said this, but I believe you offered to have yourself modkilled, and now that it's been established that it would work, do you still stand by those words? I don't want to hear the concerns of other people about my ability or its consequences; I want to know whether you were truthful about being a sacrificial lamb. I would prefer there wasn't any pleading or other worries expressed: a yes or no will suffice, with a bit of explanation.
PEdit: You people who post fast. :<
Okay, to give things more immediacy and to show serious this is, if you say yes to me, I will modkill you toDay. (Not RL day...)

Even if he is a survivor, which I doubt, I am not going to go after a potential survivor with 20 players alive. In case you haven't noticed, Oversoul really fits the scumbag bill and needs killed.
Plenty of time to do silly lynches on potential town after I get a serious case of death. Until then, dammit, do your job and scumhunt. I'm done with this, I will not vote Phil, he reads town, and I really doubt you'll get the LurkMasses to wagon him with you.

With 20 alive, it takes 11 to lynch. The deadline is in (expired on 2012-04-29 08:00:00)

Well. I guess that a flip would be useful to the town, even if it is a town flip. Much as it would solve arguments, I think that saying yes now would be a breach of rule 2 in that I wouldn't be playing to win if I *requested* being turned into a survivor and killed. So I guess no, but if it gets to L-1, I think taking a hit for the town would be in order, even if it would cause me to abruptly stop being town. So my answer is no, but Modkill me if I hit L-1. That way you can use the lynch to find the real scum.

Oh look, there's an Oversoul wagon waiting right here for you. Choo choo.
