Well, fortunately for me my role is confirmable and Katsuki's isn't, so as long as the players I gave abilities to are town then Katsuki is obv scum. Still waiting on sleepy's claim and Elli's big reveal, but yeah, I think we're ready to wrap this game up.

Also Elli. I didn't want to give anything to Slan because I figured he was the NK, and the late day push on Korts from Kats and Rhinox made me nervous about giving either one of them anything, so Elli was my only real choice.

Oh, and for what it's worth, the reason I gave Elli the cop ability N1 was:

1) He was a strong town read
2) He was suspicious of Sleepy
3) I was going to try to subtly ask him in thread how he felt about Sleepy on D3 (after he'd had a chance to use the cop ability) so that
4) I could claim to Sleepy in our QT and give him my remaining powers, making us pseudo-masons with super powers!

It didn't quite work out that way, but yeah, that was my train of thought N1.

Just... never seen a game break this wide open based on a D3 guily and a massclaim with no dead scum yet. Worries me we're missing something or being played somehow.

Promised post, though I assume it's beyond reason to believe that you won't mislynch me. I have no clue how someone could get a guilty on me baring severe bastard mechanics, and what I wanted to say doesn't imply elli scum.

The problem this massclaim brings is that there are too many confirmable roles. With masons (who can confirm each other), a vig (you can check if he shoots), an inventor (who gets confirmed by people recieving his action), and a Joat which stinks of a fakeclaim anyway. Suits my rhinox town read. Even without the Joat, that means if Nico really is that inventor which gives a one shot cop away, (and the other way this all could happen if nico and elli are together playing some very cool gambit, which is unlikely), that means we have all chances to enter day 2 with 5 confirmed roles, 4 of which are near certain town (the masons, the vig, the cop investigatee. A one shot scumvig is really hard to balance)

To me, it's beyond believe that these are all townies. In a 12 player game, day 2 with a town one shot vig generally enters day 2 with 10 players (because the vig doesn't shoot). Should there be 5 confirmed townies then, the game is simply broken by massclaim. You lynch outside those 5 and slandaar would shoot one, making that the worst case is that you enter day 3 with 4 confirmed townies and 3 scum.

This game is broken if Nico is town. Ergo, he can't be. He must be a scum inventor of sorts. Elli scum doesn't fit this theory at all, so he's town. I'd go with sleepy and Kats as the other 2 scum, kats for that fakeclaim and sleepy for the slip where he missed the UT kill but did know about Fate.

Well the fact that scum have daytalk and slans vote on kats has been sitting there for near 24hrs now (on a weekend no less) with no organized attempt at a scum quickhammer confirms kats as scum IMO. Because I don't think its slan.

Myko, if nico is a scum inventor and elli is town than what 1-shot role did elli receive that gave a guilty on you? 1-shot insane cop? I considered this scenario but threw it out as implausible since it seems to be squarely outside the category "almost normal" given to this game.

I also considered the angle of both nico and elli being scum and came to the same unlikely conclusion.

The most reasonable explanation if you're town is that elli is scum faking the guilty, but I've read elli's iso a few times today and don't see a case to make that he's scum.

So, that means we need fair power levels PLUS its not impossible to counterclaim Vig
Plus Inventor needs to hit town who doesnt die in 2 nights and 1 lynch or ability is useless

There were no counterclaims to me, there were no believable PR claims to make things remotely contentious, this is part of playing scum.
