Remind me how this is a bad flip (other than believing he is an unlimited shot sane Daycop with limited Vig powers).

The main thing holding me back is that if he is town and specifically an Insane (as opposed to paranoid) daycop we can get useful investigates out of him. As I said before I believe if non-sane Daycop vig role exists it is more likely to be more than 1-shot.

Of course if he's scum he might have picked up on my statement and decided to run with that. And claiming his kill flavour at the start of d2 rather than end of d1 despite the fact that I and others asked him for it at the end of d1 is obviously suspicious.

Also, still do not trust the anonymous source of the info sent to Sword and TBH it makes me a bit paranoid that a scum might be trying to finger 3 town with a 1-in-3 ploy.

I think an Insane/Paranoid Daycop Vig role could possibly be town in this game, but the overall way Klick has played it so far is suspicious enough to be a scum tell. He feels strangely uninvolved in the game, and the only thing he's done since about #500 that's not directly connected to his role was to join the Greyice lynch wagon for unexplained reasons.

Not sure why you think I'm on the fence as I've been demanding a full claim for a while now

I thought about the current situation. After drawing some crosstable on SoO and Klick info, and mulling over it, i abandoned the idea to present it here (though, if someone really wants to see it, i can try and put it into words in a spoiler format). Basicly there is no silver bullet. We should decide based on what how greedy we are (like if Klick is sane town cop/vig after all, are we satisfied with just two checks and two found scum?) and what scenario is more likely.

I think that SoO is more likely to be town, coming forward with his info, regardless whether the message itself is reliable. I have a town read on Green, so think that the chances of Klick claim to be true and reliable are real low. And I am ok with lynching him, even though he still can be derp town with questionable sanity - he is tied with three players already, so his flip will give the most information for tomorrow.

Not sure whether we should hammer him now and lose 10 days, i would prefer to wait until Monday at least, to do some reread over weekend.

Suicide By Cop, Sort Of …

The police station was bustling. Calls were coming in on every line from reporters, from the Mayor’s Office, and most importantly from lawyers wanting to make hay while they could with the situation. Everyone from Detectives to lowly rookies were doing everything they could to keep the situation under control. Internal Affairs was out in full force and had cordoned off the stairwell up to the Special Investigations Department. No-one was sure what they were doing up there but the members of SI were sure it wasn’t good for them.

Then again situations like this were not good for any Chicago Cop. It is not every day that the head of a Police Department gets caught red-handed in public and chooses to take their own life as opposed to facing the music.

Chicago police dispatchers were working overtime tonight. On top the normal calls dealing with domestic disputes, lost animals, and petty crimes like jaywalking three murders all were discovered within an hour of each other.

The first was particularly gruesome. The college kid who had called it in couldn’t stop puking as he horrifically described the scene to the dispatcher. Special Investigations was immediately dispatched to the scene after the Chief of Police overruled Internal Affairs. Despite the ongoing investigation into the entire division the when a body is found in an alley outside a trendy Nightclub ripped to shreds and the blood at the scene is pink you don’t send a regular detective to the scene.

Finding a detective to man the scene was harder than it should have been. Ron Carmichael was not answering his phone. 25 minutes later a call came in from the residence of Ron Carmichael. It appeared that Internal Affairs would have to find anything else they wanted to know about his potential corruption from his personnel files.

The last call came from outside the Velvet Room, the former home of Bianca St. Clair. The not-so-secret escort service she ran has already fled to another location since without Bianca’s influence to hold both the Mob and Chicago PD at bay the location was not safe. No-one is quite sure what the body they found was doing there or what all the odd tattoos he sported meant. But it was clear that the single 45 caliber gunshot to the back of his head ended his life for good this time.

The concept of the daycop redscum play D1 confuses me so. They hit bluescum with it, instituted the counterwagon to a different bluescum, then went back to said different bluescum, apparently coming up with a better plan in their QT. The only players on Grey who weren't there before the daycop shenanigans were Klick and Pidgey. It's not a strong case in and of itself, but the obstinateness reminds me of a certain screaming alien core from the super nintendo days.
