This game was a comedy of errors for scum. None of them actually seemed even remotely like town at any point, at least to my eye. At best, they were null (Klazam, due to his lurking). Due to this, they got absolutely destroyed by night actions targeted in their direction. In a game that is role madness, you can’t settle for seeming null; you have to expect investigative or killing roles to go for scummy to null players. Lurking doesn’t cut it (not that it really cuts it in a normal game either).

One thing I want to specifically address is the misplaced idea that my flavor is indicative of roles. Frankly, that’s a horrible modding practice to directly reveal information through flavor. If you want to reveal info as a mod, do it directly so there’s no guessing. My flavor (and I believe the flavor of almost all moderators) does not reflect game events or roles in any way. Assuming otherwise will lead you astray.

I’m also terribly sorry that my flavor stopped after I point. I had an outline of flavor for the entire game, but real life got in the way quite a bit. I’m very, very sorry if the lack of flavor after a point impacted anyone’s enjoyment of the game. I was forced to prioritize keeping the game moving over my egotistical desire to force-feed you my shitty writing.

Overall, this was a game that basically played out as a worst case scenario for scum for so many reasons. GG - well played, town.

Oh, and one last mod note: The calls for Klazam to win a scummy for his performance if he won are borderline insane. Klazam was allowed to get way too far off of the "Oh, I suck, sorry, I'll do better" line.

Exactly. Vezok claimed in the dead PT that this game was ridiculously town-sided, but it was just really swingy. This was a worst case scenario, for sure. The worst case scenarios in role madness will basically always be severe. There were equally severe possibilities that favored scum and cult.

Btw, really disappointed that the cult didn't get to make even a single recruit. :(
