I quickly read the last 3 pages and comments made by both of them (while believing they are about to be lynched) give off strong town vibes. I'm also a firm believer that town is pretty much always mislynched on day 1. I would rather lynch someone very very town.

But that's just me.

You know, it would've been nice to have this political discussion, I don't know... 2 weeks ago.

Lynching a townie is bad, but it's unavoidable. To avoid it, especially in a game of this size, is so statistically improbable that you shouldn't reasonably count on that. To put it bluntly, we're not going to do a clean sweep of scum lynches.

With that said, the way to up the chances of the town winning this game is to force people to make serious decisions with their vote. When they don't vote, they cannot be read, regardless of their alignment. So, please, get your head out of the clouds, and pick the person you think that you're most likely mistaken about.

I believe her; there's no sense faking it. I'm trying to wrap my head around it. What would best serve the interests of DGB and her alignment? Would it have been to claim as early as possible? I see MoI's point about the VT vs PR lynching. Town doesn't need to lose a PR, and can afford to lose a VT. However, the PR doesn't necessarily stay in town hands, and we are all VT basically as we "borrow" the abilities and pass them around.

So, taking that out of the loop, I would next have to go to who I think is town. In this case, I feel that both of them are. This is a combination of current play, half-remembered meta (where applicable) and gut. Since I think they are both town, I have to move on to my next criteria.

Playstyle, helpfulness, and overall scumhunting ability/capability. This one would have to go to Ghostlin. I find myself quickly understanding his logic trains even if I disagree with the final result. Whereas Furc doesn't inspire that same sense of organization of thoughts when it comes to those three things. So, only to avoid a NL,

It's amazing to me that people trust their town reads on D1 so much that they would be willing to no lynch in this situation.

The fact that Ghostlin got to L-1 after claiming vanilla and then people suddenly shifted off him and onto Furc right at the deadline is giving me bad vibes.

Speaking of cogntive dissonance: why would you first post a writhing retort about how you've been pushing us all to vote five days to deadline and then advocate that someone use their vote on a wagon that won't lynch?

If you're that concerned about no lynch, unvote, swallow your pride and put your vote on Furc. That's the way to prevent it. Otherwise STFU and I don't want to hear from you until you predictably try to lynch me Day 2.
