In other news, I think I know who RBAN28 is.

Done.

For mod stuff: Answering anything in thread tends to be bad, as does heavy flavor in results. The more you give than just the result, the more the players are going to start gaming the mod for what correct results actually look like. Getting involved in the thread just allows for players to start getting a read off the mod answers almost.

I tend to not say anything in thread except for common knowledge questions about deadline, votecount, etc as it *could* somehow influence a read.

I thought this was a fakeclaim of yours.

Read the flavor I got. After I flipped town cop, why would you still think this? lol

I think my thoughts are pretty well categorized in the Mafia QT so I'll keep this short.

The fact that this game continued after Day 2 is beyond me.

1. Mod screws up and jumbles around role PMs. When this is discovered the solution of "Oh, let's just add another Town Sane Cop" the the set-up being the decision is mind boggling. Especially given that scum had Goon / RoleCop / Tracker. I'd like to see if Mr. Flay and Hoopla actually do agree that this was their decision regarding the error. 1 Sane Cop in a Set-up is generally powerful. Two in a game with no scum way to counter-act except with Death (no Roleblocker or Godfather for a false clear) is so out of balance I'm amazed it continued. The proper decision would have been to force-replace Amrun and give her replacement the VT role PM.
2. Then we have said roles being Mod confirmed (and they were ... clear as Day when I actually read the thread) and the subsquent confirmed Town clears that created further made the game irreparably damaged.

Had I been reading through the game before I chose to replace in (which I only did to help out post-crash) I would never have taken the slot.

Otherwise congratulations to Town I guess.

Yeah, now I'm aware of that.

That's why I was so confused. You don't expect the mod to write such ambiguous flavor.

Actually yeah. This is right plan of action when there is that critical of a mod error really.

Even though I do think that cop/voyeur/miller is only balanced against goon/goon/RC or goon/goon/tracker.

Maybe if the mod wanted both PRs cop/deputy/voyuer/miller would have been more up the alley of correct setup. With no second cop this was definantly scum slanted, with the second cop medium town slanted.

I would have to agree with RD. Voyeur was pretty useless really without additional roles of a type different than 'investigative'.

I always tend to think of balanced starting with 11:2 mountainous and then try to adjust town power vs scum power vs the extra scum wherein naturally town needs more power to make up for the extra scum (well I suppose any town power at all regardless of scum power helps but that's besides the point)

RC + tracker + scum NK pretty much clamps down hard on figuring out where town has power. with cop+cop I would have given GF status to the tracker.

also scum had double action.

btw Om what do you percieve as my town meta :P?

Was I not spastic enough :) If it seemed like I didn't post much, it's due to me having minutes per day to spend on this game after D1 instead of hours.

I had no idea I was originally vt. Yeah, should have been force replaced. Oh well.

@AD: I don't pay anywhere near as much attention to content when trying to meta someone compared to how much attention I have on what I feel from their posts. You weren't feeling like your town self, so I thought you were suspicious because of it.

Btw, I don't know how, but my way of meta'ing works surprisingly well (caught both scum in an Open game with my meta gut but lost anyway because stupid town voted me immediately in LYLO and also I didn't push my gut enough).

The problem with force replacing Amrun at that point was that the mistake wasn't caught 'immediately'. If you send the wrong PM and catch it immediately, yeah you say "sorry mate, have to replace you, my bad." simple fix. But Am had already been in the game for nearly an entire day. She had physically all ready affected the game while under the impression of her role. To replace her at that point wouldn't have been 'fair' to her and wouldn't have fixed the 'corruption'.

I still think it would have been proper to just up and give the goon investigation immunity at that point. Setup would have been more balanced and that specific mod error would have been at least... contained.

No way to fix the answering questions in thread. Treat that as a learning experience.

Ha, you almost broke a single bone? I can do way better than that! Watch... *jumps off roof*

But no, seriously V2V, all you need is some friendly company to cheer you up. Try some of these an I'm sure you'll get some:

Baby, you must be an engineer because you've converted my floppy disk into a hard drive!

Or, if you're feeling frisky:
Hey baby, YouTube MySpace and I'll google your yahoo!

But, regardless of how you fell just remember mate,

I you're not part of the solution, then you're part of the precipitate!

I still can't fathom why my partner didn't kill good players "to make the game interesting."

Rainbow=ponygirl, Like I said it's my ego talking which wants to see what she can do, my gut says she can make this game really interesting to play from my point of view and I play for that feeling, you don't have to follow it.lol

Amrun's gotta go first as she's more confirmed than Om is,
is more competent a player
, and has less suspicion on her from what I gather.

I FUCKING KNEW IT!

Oh man, MoI was so damn lucky he chose to kill me over RD. He would have been dead in an instant otherwise.

It's hardly luck ... it's called having a brain.

If you really had a brain you would have killed me over Korlash any day, and you wouldn't have considered killing RD instead of me.

I think I understand why people use Role PMs to confirm--or, at least one of the reasons why. I think I'll switch to that for the time being, maybe permanently. Granted, it's not infallible, too, but I do think this method would've certainly caught such an error barring any other lapses of thinking in my mind.

Still, huge mistake aside, I do hope you all enjoyed the game. I definitely would like to do every post-reset over again, of course, but that won't happen.

And again, thanks to all of you who stayed with the game after the reset!
