I know someone asked why Amrun btw and I will get to that (I have other things I need to read urgently tonight) but main reason I didn't reply straight away was because I just noted her down as scum for whatever thing occurred to me when I was rereading to update my reads yesterday and didn't make much in the way of notes beyond who I had as which alignment. So there's definitely a reason (possibly loads) why I think she's scum but I've forgotten them temporarily in a haze of different names. Large games, eh?

What are your thoughts on Nexus' townread of Metal yesterday?
As I keep pointing out desperado, just because you made the points on day 1 doesn't mean I saw them. In case you hadn't noticed I was a little preoccupied on day 1 with matters of my own.

On that, I will have to have a read back, because depending on how they sound in and out of context it will either be town genuinely looking past the moronic attitude to see town tells on ms or it will have been white knighting... I shall Iso now and see what I make of it.
Yeah yeah I get that, but now you know why I was voting Nexus, and you haven't done anything with it. The conversation just sort of...ended. So why did you call me out on my vote if you didn't plan on following through once you received the information you were looking for?
In post 1073, Generic wrote:About nexus, He never goes all out on the 'MS is town' comments, they feel light and fairly genuine. Town reading town is what I would say based on those comments.
I agree that context is important, so why did you ignore the broader context of Nexus' previous treatment of "bad players?" He clearly thinks that bad = scum, and yet Metal's brand of bad was somehow town.

I think the contradiction is scum motivated. What do you think?

bad posts are usually scum. You can be a bad player and not scum.

I am still not fully with it. Aiming to get caught up with my sleep and less fucked asap.

What I mean is bad posts does not equal bad player. Bad posts can come from good players, if they're scum.

This seems like an arbitrary distinction. So back to my original question:

tsunami reads town to me.

sideponder: I wonder how often scum kill off their fake scumreads. I also need to look back and see why Nacho was killed; didn't seem particularly strong town aside from reputation.

She's really super shy and a low poster, which is why she likes to hydra every now and then, and gets really frustrated with the suspicion she gets for being a low poster at our other site. But, I don't think it would have been a big deal this game, except I went out of town right after this game started. She got confused from my message and thought the game wasn't starting until I got back. By the time I got ahold of her, it was on page 30 and she was all meh about catching up. So, essentially I'm without another head, so think of me as a public alt. I'd change to Tammy but I like my avatar >_> And you're not losing anything really as I'm super easy to read so...
My issue here has two names: Pandora and Quilford. (You could at least inform Andy that it's just you, my CDO is acting up about seeing Snax on the first page.)

From what you're saying--she prefers playing scum, then?
I don't know what this even means

who said anything about lynching dekes w/o hearing from him and wat do you mean by "again"?
Mollie, do I need to find something else of yours to misrep to grab your attention, or you cool with just talking to me about what nacho's townflip did to your reads?
it made me reevaluate my own, obviously.

I am assuming you think my dekes vote is a sheep onto nacho's read alone and it isn't. mac had suspicions of him and something I have learned abut mac is that he has wicked ass good instincts. so I am going with his read cos I want to see what happens.
Generic, there was a very valid thing I was doing there. I wanted people to comitt to scum v notscum, in that I didn't want the easy peasy "Oh metal sonic was a policy lynch" excuse down the road.
okay so what are your thoughts in lieu of the 3 flips?

If I were a betting man (I am, but never more than 50p unless it's a
really
daring occasion), I'd still bet on Dekes being town. I don't think his twilight posts are more likely to come from scum than town.

To expand on 1088: Does Amrun really believe that a flashwagon on Reck would achieve anything? Has anything he's done in this game (or anything about his personality) suggest that he's the sort who'd be lured back into action in a game which he clearly feels is overly baggy if people wagoned him? He'd almost welcome it, like a "fuck you guys, fuck this game" thing. I don't think it would achieve anything other than a distraction and Amrun sort-of-but-wiggle-room-for-it-to-be-not-really suggesting it doesn't show any kind of pro-town purpose.
