It has nothing to do with whether or not people can take being called dumb by a stranger on the internet, what it has to do with the mentality of the person who can never refrain from making insults to people like that whether it's to gain a reaction or whatever. At the root of this, the game is supposed to be fun, and it's impossible for it to be fun when one person acts like they're better than everyone else and treats people the way that you do. It's also impossible to have a functioning game when people play with their egos instead of their brains. It just becomes ego bashing and that's not mafia.

It's kind of like on a playground. I suppose it makes you feel better to put others down, but it doesn't really do anything to make you better. It's a false sense of ego boosting, but in the end you just look like a jerk.

Also, you know what I so much love about this statement. If you're town, you probably actually righteously believe this too. But what's hilarious, is that at the same time that you are claiming someone is an idiot for thinking your are scum and wanting to lynch you, you are bullheadedly claiming that you *know* who the last scum is.

MARA - If you guys are town, and if there is a tomorrow, and if we are both alive tomorrow you need to knock some sense into your other head. If he refuses to actually read the game and accept someone else is scum, town is going to lose. There are four tomorrow, we need three votes to lynch. If he parks it on us, there is no way to actually get a scum lynch. Think about it Mara.
