Reading nw but on an iPad so expect buldermar style catchup.
I would be more willing to lyndh t bone today on account of scuminess. Deadline lunches are usuall pretty important unless you are extremely confident in you town read and would be willing to ever the game if wrong. No reason to be worried about people using shit reasons against you, though. In post 784, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:and then if idodecide to vote pitoli because omgdeadline it will come back to bite me later and someone will try to lynch me and use that shit as "evidence". i know this game. it's a scum game.
Did his push on etl not freak you out a bit? You certainly seem to be town reading her based on how you're talking to her at the moment. In post 808, The Purple Rose wrote:It's the other way around. I followed his predecessor. Chaosomega caught the tell, disappeared later. I think it was really good scumhunting (which is why I pushed that point when he left) and I think I posted then that I thought chaosomega was town. I haven't had a good reason to doubt that read with his replacement, t-bone.In post 802, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:it looks very much like tpr and tbone are scum together, doens't it? i think i disagree.
she is liking him because he's pandering to her preferred lynch.when bulb was doing it, she did the same thing. i don't think it's as associative as you think.
i would much prefer to lynch tbone. besides, tpr seems to have really good cognitive skills and if she is town she is useful.
p-edit: i'm not planning on voting bulb today.
As for bulb, he was a bit the guy that caught me when I fell, I admit. If he's clever scum, he could have abused my situation there and I'm probably not very immune to buddying. But the case as it's presented now is not a good one.
Your timeline of us on the bulba wagon is completely wrong. In post 816, The Purple Rose wrote:fwiw, I think bulba might just be right. If you flip scum, sangres certainly is someone to look at, your interaction would fit. F-16 would play really ballsy the way he defends you for page after page. Sangres quitely got onto the bulba wagon with a huge meta post about whether or not bulba switched reads quickly in other games. The speed of the wagon as of now, together with the bigger counterwagon would make it really surprising to me if you were being bussed right now, and since chaos started this on you, and I've been pushing, I doubt we are serious contenders for being your buddy. I haven't considered the lucky shot that these wagons are both on scum, and I would doubt that to be the case. If pope is your buddy, we'll find out soon enough.
And etl? She'd have hammered bulba. There'd be a way to make an excuse for that. Last thing she would do as your buddy would be to exclude herself from voting bulba.
No, I voted him because I had different feelings. The smoking gun for me yesterday was bulba saying that he was voting pitoli for paranoia and because he couldn't live with himself if he got an early scum read on pitoli and let it go. That struck me as someone being led by emotions, and bulba is not the type to be led by emotions. In post 834, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:but you're voting him here despite having the same feelings?
This is not a good reason to call yourself town.In post 892, T-Bone wrote:I think that's 7 players who have expressed intent to lynch me at one point or another? There's a problem, because there's no way all 7 town have got this right. Scum lynches are hard because there are two people fighting against it, and maybe more if they've conned a townie or two to do it.
I was quiet and content to chill and let ETL call me scum. He's my scumread, so his opinion of me or the case I laid out against him doesn't mean shit to me. Which is why I've only responded to Sangres and LS about it. I think I've justified everything I've done thus far as coming from a protown perspective.
I'm not going to switch to Bulba, I want him to justify his 11th hour change of heart.
This vote hit the thread after two cop claims. Why drop it anyways?
Tip rose and tbone. In post 1027, F-16_Fighting_Falcon wrote:Okay, so who is the scum now?
This is fake.
Because in the second to last paragraph, I say that we'll find out what's going on, should pitoli indeed be a seer. Because if she is, the likely setup looks like: IC, Seer, cops (basically named VT's), 2 werewolfs without a roleblock. If they did have a roleblock, the IC would be shot and pitoli would've claimed no result. That does sound about balanced and not all that surprising a setup. I'd be seriously surprised if there'd be any guilties from any of the cops, so tip's claim is wrong. Because should we not have figured out the likely setup by now, any guilties that bbmolla would have inserted with insane or paranoid cops would lead to lynches that we simply wouldn't have time for in a micro. In short, I think bbmolla is a reasonable guy and made some interesting named townie by giving us real cops as vanilla townies in an otherwise simple setup.roses response at night to the lynch wrote:Sigh. Night post because I wasn't around at time of the lynch. I didn't like what I saw.
I, as so many, am a cop. And I can't have been the only one who was surprised to see at the start of the day that we had an innocent child. That's fishy. Because a cop and an innocent child while scum knows the entire setup would berough. It would put a lot of pressure on scum making the right shots.
So I can't have been the only one who at that point suspected at least one godfather on the scum team. There's no way that scum basically get one shot to find the cop in a town. So when chaosomega found a godfather tell on pitoli, I was over the moon. It fit with what I expected, and pitoli slipped the role I suspected scum must have. All day, I was annoyed how hard I had to push, thinking that this was certain to get me shot as I was obviously the other role that knew a godfather was a possibility. I guess that's overboard now, and if pitoli is scum I might actually post this post in the thread for the living for wifom purposes (and because F-16 is so lovely persistent in calling me scum).
Now that the setup is clear though, I can't imagine how I could be the only one who was happy at the moment someone slipped GF.
There's not a single cop in the world who'll joke in thread "oh if there's a (day)cop, investigate me please!". This post is quite a stretch.pitoli wrote:FUCK YOU. That wasn't a godfather tell that was me AWARE OF THE FACT THAT THERE WAS A COP IN THE SETUP
BECAUSE I AM THE COP
I'm a bit disappointed how after that and her awkward switch to seer later on, you still chose to go for the mislynch in the making that bulba was. I think that was there for everybody to see.
On the other hand, I could be wrong, since a game with practically 6 vt's and a IC that's already known day one against 2 scum isn't particulary likely. Most of the 9 player setups run have at least one powerrole that might pop up later. To make this comparable, a seer wouldn't be that surprising, with a seer as the powerrole for this setup. On the other hand, we'll know more about this when we wake up again, because what scum would leave perhaps the only scary powerrole alive just for the wifom of it?
As I commented on yesterday, f-16's play is beyond normal. He invested a lot into being very convinced pitoli was town, explaining her actions. His unvote at the end of the day was totally not in line with how hard he pushed bulba for reasons that were rather iffy. Compare his posts to LS (who know was town and who was on the same reads as F-16) and the difference is striking. LS doesn't go further then "the pitoli case doesn't convince me". F-16 goes on explaining how pitoli's actions make sense when she's town. Town people aren't supposed to know whether pitoli is town, and from LS's responses, he indeed doesn't show a sign of that. F-16 does.
