I play a different game replacing into a game, especially near deadline. It has to do with the need to establish a presence and stance quickly vs having the luxury of time to think and experience the game in real time. Based on feedback in a few recent games, I think I've probably gone too far in the observational mode direction. It will be interesting to see what sort of feedback I get in the next few games, because I will be making some adjustments.
I'm making an ubercool townbloc, isn't it implied?
jk, not really sure why not though

Another thing I like about the ross wagon- It's got all townreads on it.
I thought it was weird, he essentially scumread me for replacing in. It's why I asked Cabd- I had such a bullshit read on him/hawk in FEA and that's the first thing that popped into my head regarding his read.

Based on my rethink, if it were a week from deadline I'd try to sort GoodFather. There isn't time, and I'm not going to throw out a vanity wagon. Goodfather is my message to day 2.

NS, I don't read Ross as voting you for replacing in, so much as getting everyone to think he's scum when you did. Ross was right to begin with, it's a big pile of OMGUS.

I really didn't mention ross that much when I replaced in though. Maybe a passing comment, but my big thing was Aronis.

Hmm.
Well then maybe he's just stupid.
Anyway, from what I can tell, both of the major wagons are at L-3. 6 hours from the deadline. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED
In post 1049, Aronis wrote:The point of the DP is to find scum and lynch them, I said" I want to lynch someone before time runs out". I just don't fancy leaving things to a die roll.
How are the Ross and Aronis wagons dice roles?
In post 1051, Selkies wrote:Adding 1 vote to a 1-vote wagon doesn't look very survivalistic to me.
The only way I can see any sort of scum sense given the vote mechanic is if Ross and Aronis are scum together.
Am I missing something?
Maybe they want us to talk ourselves into a deadline induced NL?
Why would I lynch myself?
And I'm still not convinced Ross is scum, if it gets to the deadline and we need a vote to lynch him, I will. Until then my vote stays off that wagon unless I find something clearly scummy about him.
Mind you, we GAINED deadline time thanks to the two hour bonus recently, so deadline isn't any closer.

Consider this intent to hammer.
Ross, do you have any last words?

Vote: Aronis
Notscience, let's get back on Aronis? Having last-minute thoughts, especially after Ffery's "I was scum-reading Aronis before, but not so much anymore"

^This is why, Cabd. If I didn't vote and Ik didn't hammer fast, we'd have to go through this mess again.

I dunno, I think this will be telling as far as interactions go once we see some flips. Not exactly a mess to me.

I misspoke here and meant Ross lol - Goodfather hasn't been here lately.
In post 1022, Bert wrote:His/her start has been less than stunning, but his/her responses to being attacked look legit like gut-reactions.
No, I don't see him/her doing that stuff. However, he/she seems clueless. So it's the newb card that saves him/her. I don't see a scum agenda.
However, if I have to vote, I'll vote Aronis over Goodfather because I think it's likelier that Aronis is fooling us and having us underestimate him/her big time.
At least Aronis hasn't seemed to be making up stuff when attacking other people - although the hesitance to confront Notscience and explain his/her vote felt off. Felt like damage control to "shut up and not explain the ns vote"
Substitute Goodfather with Ross, although in this post I actually meant Goodfather when I said his name..

Bert, are you actively trying to prevent us from getting a majority?

No, I'm not. 6 hours is enough to make the time go by.
I'm sure someone will be here at deadline (I know I will) to switch over to whichever wagon as needed.

You'd better be. Half the town seems to want to lurk right at the end of the day, and so I sort of doubt we'll see any sudden appearances.

I'm banking on notscience, Selkies, and (to a lesser extent) Ross
they're generally very active (the first two, not Ross)
