Did I say anything about your posts, nope, not a thing. I cast a direction for a vote, picked a thread to pull on and here we are, reverberation.
But a vote means you think I'm scum and the only reason you could think that would be because of my posts unless reasons, so it's logical to assume that there was some post of mine that bothered you. But now I know that it was just a shitty vote. Unless you want to prove me different.
being an alien to these parts, the value and definition of what is stated and voted is varied. To one a vote is precious, to another a vote but a tool. All are suspect and some gain favor, others ill, the rub is which gains ring true and which are false. All in the sorting. All in time. One answer, then another, and soon we hold true or false. It is the use of the many tools that lead to the sorting, not just the one.
I'd be up for a policy lynch here also.
lol, and what policy would I be violating oh great and marvelous TSO.... just that I don't play like I played forever at Mafiascum, cause I didn't not and that would be impossible. Too funny.

How the fuck would repeatedly spouting mindless philosophy instead of answering questions be related to your time spent as Mafiascum?

well, he's pressing the issue by continuing the vote. ...and the only alternative explanation is that he's voting us because of something personal (which is even harder to stomach).

that's where i'm at now, so why are you all acting so surprised that i'm pissed off?
But he is at least giving his reason, as crappy as you believe it to be. I'll need to check, but did the other 8 votes bother you?

I honestly don't get that kind of impression

He just comes in and yells for a random tunnel, when we haven't even interacted.

Hell, I don't even feel like he's been pushing me. It just feels like he's come in, SEEN me do stuff, called me scum for it, and told other people that they should vote me.

I can't even remember 1 moment in this whole game where he has actually talked TO me, and not ABOUT me.

That's not sorting people out.
I get that impression - he's talking to other people, whether or not he talks to everyone (and I doubt anyone has) doesn't really matter to me. It also doesn't matter to me that he's pressing you as scum and trying to sort others - that feels fine to me.

What's up with your vote? You really think that's going anywhere? What sort of sorting are you doing as regards it?

I have Xay in my town pile. I will not vote for him unless there is no choice because of deadline.

I have a strong scum read on Pere. Part of it is based on experience with him in several games, part of it is associative tells and wagons.
If he's in your town pile, and in a game this large, you shouldn't vote him at all. Why is he town?
Also what's your read on Aegor?

Rach is scummy to me now.

What's wrong with it? Sheep me and it'll take off.

I skim his case, it felt town. I read it, it felt scum, because the reasons were utter shit. I responded to start interacting so I could try and find out if he was town or scum. Votes him in the process so that he wouldn't ignore me maybe.

And I get absolutely nothing.

He's either scum pushing a mislynch haaaaaard as fuck, or town with an ego bigger than Jupiter

I lean the former

So what's your problem with the Xay wagon?

After Talah's last post I wouldn't mind lynching them.
1/ What's your case *for* the Xay wagon?
I don't have one. I wanted to know why SKOT is voting Aegor over Xay when he expressed suspicion of Xay the last time he'd mentioned him and hadn't really said anything about Aegor.
talah wrote:2/ Good for you, champ, why don't you flop down a vote? What exactly was your problem with my last post and what were you previously thinking about me anyway?
My problem with your Pere vote is that it's unexplained, on a not very good target, and does nothing in this gamestate. What I was thinking about you before was that your posting in general was scummy but that your softclaim didn't look scum motivated or a likely scum move at all. In addition I thought you didn't respond well to mastin's meta case on you but I just kind of skimmed that. I prefer my vote on Aegor.

That you are full of BS. You basically posted nothing until , your sixth post. In that post, you straight-up OMGUS me. You have not changed your vote since then and have contributed nothing. You then suggest I am a good "compromise lynch," which would be far more compelling had you actually done anything all game. As your ISO stands, you have done jack shit and are now suggesting -- without any reason, of course -- that I am somehow a good "compromise lynch" even though that question had not been raised at all.

That is hella scummy.

That seems really weak to me, since you're voting Xay yourself. The problem I have with it, is that we can end up groupthinking into this 'only existing wagons are useful' type of mindset, which is what seems to be happening. This gives aggressive (often wrong) and scum-championing-agressive, the upper hand.

It would be very fudding nice if we just voted people we thought might be scum, rather than sheeping - whoever you think is town that you're sheeping. Then consolidate/negotiate as needed.

In post 1094, Dry-fit wrote:My problem with your Pere vote is that it's unexplained, on a not very good target, and does nothing in this gamestate. I have no reason currently to be townreading Pere. I don't like *any* of the wagons that have occurred today (with the exception of Necro, and apparently hurrdur it's stupid according to a few folks - so I'll leave it partially to avoid a shitfight and partially because I acknowledge I could be wrong on - anything - even though I don't think so here).

When I don't like the existing wagons I'll vote somewhere else. Voting *with* Rach, partially helps with my read on her (which, if you've played with Rach before, is always going to be about intuitives), and partially challenges TSO's assertion that Rach's vote on Pere is not worthwhile.

Partial claim - meh. Either I'm killed or town can get some information from it, or I live. I'll have to be consistent in any case.

I skimmed mastin's case myself after the initial few posts whenever I saw sentences which started with "as town, talah does...".
It's wrong and there is simply no way to refute probably 60+ posts directly misrepresenting me. How would you go about it if it were aimed at you? Rhetorical unless you have an obvious answer I'm missing.
