*twitch* Don't rolefish me when you're Town. I have good reasons. There are no threats to my Townreads, so I'm not divulging information I don't need to

Farside, I think a good reason for Pine being town is Southern Gothic interactions: he dropped some VT tells early in the game, they end up claiming a "goes nowhere" track on him later in the game: that seems like scum taking a small risk on a correct guess on a townie as opposed to dragging a scumbuddy onto a sinking ship.

You look like you're making things up as you go.

Hey Pine I swapped to phone posting but lets talk farside. You've played with her, right? How exactly does this match up with her scum meta?

I don't have a solid handle on her scum meta, she's too adaptable. It doesn't, however, look like her Town meta

And I guess I need a little explaining as to why what she's posting is scummy, exactly: right now all I see is a passionate and proactive player making a series of pushes that show serious scumhunting and not really much that shows opportunistic tendencies or trends towards survival or trends towards protecting scumbuddies or acting weird around them.

Why her play here is different from her town meta is good enough for me!

Ooooo lets hear based on 2 games? or is there a 3rd I can't remember for sure where I was town and then link those games to explain how I'm different.
Fyi: i'm different in certain ways in most games as town.

That didn't matter to me. Catching scum making the kill was the priority.
↑Nachomamma8 wrote:@TTH: It's also surprising you call an early claim like that null: do you generally have that approach for early claims if they can't be proven immediately after?
This is only my second closed game, so I can't answer that question with any precision.
I think it's surprising you would call
this
claim in particular anything but null. Is there anything that indicates it's town to you and if so, what is it? It's not the fact he has a "confirmed town result" because that information can easily be counterfeited by scum. So what is it?
So the likelihood that an uncontested wagon on a special with no counterclaim being on scum is, what?
At this point, everyone's just being willfully ignorant.
There are more votes on us than votes on everyone else combined and there's no counterclaim.
Does anyone else see a problem with this or am I just cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs?

There's actually several counterclaims of various hardness. That's apparently just not how Town PRs are phrased; a Town Tracker would have been "Food Hunter" or "Food Ranger" or something like that, not a standard role name.
Sorry
You done fucked up

In all fairness, if you hadn't made a serious error, you were on track to do well. I didn't suspect you until you stumbled

I'm not sure if I should feel insulted that you think I made up that action flavor.
Should I?

No

I think it's more the Food Tracker flavor that people think has been made-up. Not the "Bloodhound/Snuggles" flavor.

^This. The dog flavor could easily be part of a scum tracker role, a provided fakeclaim, or a fabrication entirely. Certainly I've gotten that detailed with fakeclaim flavor, just check out Jurassic Park mafia, where I did actual research on studies suggesting that T Rex was a scavenger to justify my fakeclaim
