Sure, as long as this is not distruptive to the rest of the site (so I wouldn't make a thread in MD about it). This must stop when I announce it in the game thread.
Public and private collusion are both allowed. However, no one is compelled to follow anything discussed, i.e. betrayal is allowed. Likewise, you cannot prove to players who you are choosing (e.g. by sending a screenshot of who you chose).
