Also, I've just read the dead thread. Poseidon was going to kill Egg?? That meant he would've been caught by Fromage.

So both PRs played GREAT. Wh4t did what she does best and that's OBV!TOWN.

Inferno I'd have to take note that he plays scummy as Town (for future reference).

And of course, Tor escaping the lynch on D1 and managing to garner a TR from Wh4t & Eragon was GREAT PLAY despite the eventual loss.

I can't really complain about anyone's play, but I wonder if Eragon is still persistent on me being scum. (he was still adamant in the dead thread)

Ftr, yes.. it was your push back on the Tor lynch that directly resulted in your lynch. Would you have felt differently if we switched places (i.e. knowing I'm Town and was 100% correct the VT claim should've been lynched)?

Are you kidding me? I can count at least 3 times when I've wanted not to lynch outed scum right away and I always get shut down or they turn on me thinking no townie would ever suggest such a taboo thing. I should thank you for finally making it happen. (I might be wrong and it definitely doesn't work for all situations but I feel like sometimes it's worth keeping them alive to see if they will give off any extra info while alive).

I have to agree. I don't think anyone played badly (except manatee I guess) it was just so bad that we as town continued to switch wagons and cause more people to claim. Like I don't know if it's my bias as a PR but I thought that was pretty clearly a very bad thing. If I weren't so sure that Inferno was town I would have lynched him just to stop more people from being outed. That's probably why I didn't defend so hard. (Also for the record I don't have much experience with PRs I didn't want to obvtown too much like I usually do as VT so I was trying to do different "scummy" things - though I consider my lack of experience a blessing because VT is my favorite role )

If anything that’s what sent me in a rage about Eragon when i decided to flip him because he basically willingly added himself to the lynch pool that he really wasn’t on for me

I think it was unfortunate for the mafia that an active player who strongly townread both of them got lynched on day-1. A no-lynch would have been much better for them.

Glad I ended up as part of the winning side. My townreads (egg, inferno, bujaber, a50) were a lot better than my scumreads. I wonder if this is just because 3/4th of the other players are also town or if I'm actually better at townreading.
I scumread Eragon for some okay reasons. Others were far fetched. Just because someone disagrees with me whether or not to self-hammer as VT, doesn't make them confirmed scum. On the other hand Tor as well as Poseidon speculated about VTs / PRs. So some anti-town actions might be scum-indicative after all.

In short, hindsight is 20/20.
