V/LA today. Be back tomorrow.

Your read is awfully rushed. What’s the basis for your read?

Personally I lean slightly towards Macabre being TMI'd town from this. As for insom's post, I think that it's bad scum play to bring attention to something a partner wrote this soon.

What was the point of this post by the way? It made me sick to my stomach actually. It feels really weird and it's like against the grain with the thread state. What were you hoping to achieve with this? I get you know he replaced out of games, but what was this achieving? I felt it really unnecessary.
It's totally off-topic and I interpreted it as a personal attack rather than an attempt at figuring out anything.
What was the point of bringing attention to it?
I don't like how overexaggerated this post is.
It was just a simple question.
Looks like I found
my first serious scum read
this game.

Considering the reasoning that Aaron gives here, I honestly find it quite hard to see this as being SvS.
76 - "What was the reasoning behind your profii vote and your switch to Alchemist here? *votes profii*" Am I the only one who finds this a bit odd?
101 - Well, Alch did at least.
In post 127, Macabre wrote:The Colonel is no Chimera: the Chimera is the one with two heads, not one, not three: exactly two. The one referred to by the scarf boy, in a manner most unclear, as being partners in crime with the sleepy boy! Illumination!
Wait a minute:
In post 103, Ame wrote:(p#29) isn't scummy, but it is a tad bit off, and gives me the impression that profii is anxious to establish rapport with somni.
Wouldn't this suggest profii scum -> insom town though?
In post 137, Macabre wrote:Do not allow yourselves to be misled from the work of this scarf boy, or how the burger has voted the crow for casting a ballot for the same person the burger had. Distraction!
This feels like a misrep - as far as I can tell, Wimpy voted you because he couldn't stand the way you talk. The fact that you voted Alch after he did seems to have been irrelevant.
In post 144, AaronFrost wrote:I have no idea what Macabre is trying to say but it's making me laugh my ass off
On the other hand, this seems to spew Macabre town. I'm thinking that Aaron would have seen Macabre in a more serious light if they were partners.
160 - Refer to my note on
127.
In post 182, AaronFrost wrote: In post 154, Wimpy wrote:It wouldn’t call it a scum read but yes that was the reason. I don’t know why people are asking about it.
Just trying to figure out your reason behind the read to figure out if it's a genuine or fabricated read.
Your reasons feel pretty genuine to me.
Feels +town for Wimpy, especially {bolded}.
In post 216, Looker wrote:Permanent townread on the guy with the glasses - you make me feel comfortable. Beauty is really reassuring.
Feels kinda pockety towards JTB.
218 - I'm aware that this was a topic of discussion earlier. I'm of the opinion that it's +town for Ame, as it seems to have been quite a significant continuity error on Aaron's part, which scum would surely not have wished to draw attention to.
221 - On the other hand, it doesn't read to me like Aaron was particularly flustered by that question. This
could
mean that, in a world where Ame is scum with Aaron, they made sure Aaron had a suitable defence before Ame questioned him.
@insomnia
- Do you recall why you thought this?
In post 258, Ame wrote:I've had egix in the obv town category since around his prodding into the profii votes. His posting style is so happy-go-lucky and lacks guilt / nervousness.
Well, this aged well! I actually find it quite astounding that you went from this to "remaining scums are Egix/JTB GG".
In post 269, AaronFrost wrote:
It's a weak read mostly based on gut tbh but
he comes off as honest
if a little blunt.
More spew in Wimpy's favour.
In post 276, AaronFrost wrote:Are you townreading him regardless of the fact that his push has had no resistance?
Looking at this post again... what's up with the logic here? Usually a push having no resistance ==> person being pushed on is town (conversely, resistance to a wagon implies that target is scum). It's not a matter of 'regardless' at all. Idk, does this spew profii town since Aaron was trying to use faulty logic to make me change my mind about him??
In post 292, insomnia wrote:Actually no cuz like people will say it’s t/t if we go at each other
Even if the whole sequence that this line was part of was somehow scum theatre, then I would say that saying this out loud only defeats the purpose.
