Is this the only thing that's pinged you about Alice, or is there other things and that's just what tipped you over to vote?In post 1073, marcistar wrote:becuz i find it weird how the second they vote u u decide to change ur mind on toxic, not earlier.
+1
I was actually going to make an Alice post last night but 961 made no fucking sense to me but I still read it as town so I dropped it.In post 1072, Val89 wrote:@DArby; what do you think of Alice thus far?
Refer to my 910 about the toxic exception. I’d rather wait d2 for a toxic wagon. If his only real case is feels robotic and low post count a town!toxic flip gives us nothing. In post 1083, NorwegianboyEE wrote:There is no meta argument for why Toxic is scum.
I hope it did cause I’m not really feeling what’s being dished out now, and I don’t want to be held to something I don’t believe in.In post 1084, Dwlee99 wrote:That Darby post reads so wishy-washy
It's actually a pretty smart strategy, just not a fun oneIn post 1080, NorwegianboyEE wrote:Like what’s the point in joining a game of deduction if you’re not going to even attempt to be readable.
Not sure why he wasn't wotc'd.
You policy lim these kind of players and I think the only reason why we are not doing that is that there will be a replacement who can make slot more readable. In post 1090, camelCasedSnivy wrote:It's actually a pretty smart strategy, just not a fun oneIn post 1080, NorwegianboyEE wrote:Like what’s the point in joining a game of deduction if you’re not going to even attempt to be readable.
Normally why I try to be scummy when I'm town, since I'm really scummy when I'm scum
Good early vigilance (though I will admit, doesn't exactly mesh with her toxic defense later...?)In post 94, AliceK wrote:"Didn't read the setup" townslip is very dangerous as it is easy too fake.In post 55, T3 wrote:I think Jolyne is town for this. They did a very similar thing in Purgatory when they townslipped but then admitted they didn't read the setup to make them have a higher chance of townslipping and this is reminding me of that.In post 47, Jolyne wrote:not to towntell, but this game started?
Good, thought-out early read.In post 177, AliceK wrote:Comment about vig shot sounded fake. Almost like he tried very hard to act as uninformed as possible. This mindset comes from scum.In post 109, marcistar wrote:dependsIn post 87, Gamma Emerald wrote:I don't wanna see anyone acting stupid this game, or you'll have my unlimited fury poured into destroying you. what dont u like about them
Trying to make better wagons happen, that's a town move imo, scum would tend to be indifferent to some degree (town can be too but I'm saying being picky about wagons is a towntell, that doesn't mean vice versa)In post 260, AliceK wrote:In post 167, NorwegianboyEE wrote:I think one of the few posts that pinged me as sus earlier is Alice’s: "T3 is being voted a lot, is there an meta reason for that?" post.In post 168, NorwegianboyEE wrote:The only way to get reads is to keep the very real threat of DEATH hanging over the heads of those that wish to mislead us.
PROVE ME WRONG.I see your point. I agree however I have a gut feeling that T3 is town and we should look somewhere else.
this feels like a very long-term-minded approach to norwee, which I think is town-indicative because scum would want to keep options open.In post 261, AliceK wrote:Not much yet. My belief is that people like norwegianboyee you caught in a later stage of the game as they are not doing many mistakes early. Nevertheless, I think in this game he is in "solving" attitude much earlier, so I would say a slight town-lean.In post 199, marcistar wrote:alicekyou seem fine enough rn, butdo you have any sort of read on norwegianboyee rn..? im curious if anything seems similar to that play you've seen from him, or if you have a townread on him..?In post 93, AliceK wrote:Haha, very well played. I was suspecting you, but couldn't find good arguments to accuse you. Just hoped I was paranoid. GOOD TIMES~
This was a pretty good post when Val was being targetedIn post 466, AliceK wrote:That's not quite valid. You assume that as Town he would not try to get out of bad situation. Of course you may say there is more Townies than Mafia (more spare parts ), but still it doesn't mean that a one would just give up.In post 307, toxictaipan wrote:The past 13 pages are exhausting. If I were Val and scum in this situation, I'd be giving some better replies, though. Town is looking for an excuse to lim him and the chip on the shoulder attitude might just be it. I think scum Val would realize this and not be so standoffish. In post 199, marcistar wrote:toxictaipanim interested in ur input on this val stuff, do u mind giving some thoughts about that and anything else u may have thought of..?
I think the interactions between DArby and NorwegianboyEE are much more interesting, but can't quite pin a read either way on the two yet.
It's not Val post what you should look at.
Also it is not clear for me what DArby's alignment is, but there are better options for today.
UNVOTE:
while these aren't exactly strong points it felt like Alice meant what she was sayingIn post 954, AliceK wrote:I don't think toxic is Mafia, because these 2 posts:
Val was in quite bad spot. I don't think the low posting scum, would jump into the thread to provide arguments against elimination. In post 307, toxictaipan wrote:The past 13 pages are exhausting. He would need to fake a townslip. That isn't something very popular to do.In post 308, toxictaipan wrote:Lol but for real, though. I honestly don't know either.
I think I've made a mistake here. If we are talking about red!Toxic clearing Norwee, I've been sat here stewing on a reason why I thought that wasn't the case, but when I've come to explain it in response to this, I realise I have credited toxic in my mind with saying something early while I was still the push; and it turns out it didn't actually come from toxic. In post 1086, Dwlee99 wrote:Okay but a red!toxic flip gives us something !
