It’s not a terrible point. Do you think we have two town coroners and a town medium? I mean it’s possible but Mala got macho doc result on Bella and I don’t recall ever seeing a scum macho anything in any game ever.

I don’t see what this has anything to do with game imbalance? I think it’s not unreasonable to be sceptical about this, which is different.

My problem with the choice to ghost-neighbor ceph is that it's clear to me from the gladiation proceedings he was operating to feed his own ego vs. to the town's benefit
if his goal was town cohesion, DP should never have been a gladiate option, as far as I'm aware they were not a leading suspect D1.
My choice of ghost-neighbor would be dictated by whether I thought it was a rational voice I would like to have assisting me long-term, and Cephrir kinda proved himself not to be of that caliber.

And the reason scepticism is justified is because both OtH and Mala’s cornoners specifically involve role checking, so I don’t see how that’s strange at all.

most of the time when i hear skepticism about role balance in any game it comes from a scumbag getting all salty about game balance

bruh like how is it even an issue that the game has multiple coroners on town side
you know most games
we dont need coroners
cuz roles get flipped and shit

by PookyTheMagicalBear
the balance issue doesnt even make sense to me
for me i think town should have multiple coroners cuz how the fuck we supposed to know what flipped if we dont have multiple coroners?
scum shoot the 1 town coroner n1 and we just playing blind rest of the game?
lol
i think scum r way more likely to feel salty about this shit than town
for me its just normal large theme balance

I agree we never should have been an option but Ceph did flip town. so not sure where you’re going with this? And he was the only n1 option. I probably would have waited to use it on either Frogs or Dunn but meh?

Both slots claim to be able to rolecop dead slots. It’s not like one checks for role and the other checks who visited them.

I guess i don't see why scum would target you over butterchurn or something
But i agree with the general idea that scum probably didn't target drapion last night to avoid collision with a town protective
So how do you account for the no kill then? This is why I think OfH should check Bella because it looked like she might have been informed about doc.
It's a 26p game, there's likely more than 1 protect
Scum probably don't have any goons since Bella did the kill. They were also not especially worried about a vig.

Only option N1, seemed to have good activity so I thought he would still be active in the dead PT and have a good understanding of the game (since I was v/la for 5 days), and just generally like my fellow skittles (except for T-bone of course).

Right, forgot about that, probably all of OtH, BB and Gamma are town who talk to dead.

He didn't feel confident in his reads and felt the day length was antitown so he polled some town reads on who to gladiate to progress us forward. I don't agree with this comment.

If so, maybe Frogs was the nk > Frogs?
Okay Oth: rolecheck Dunn then, probably best option.

Tin foil theory: Maybe scum have a vig as well? I’ve been in two games with a scum vig.

i agree. Ceph's play was obviously townie, and also obviously coming from a place of trying to help the town.
Even with it missing, I don't really regret suggesting he do it.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this game ever since we got out of day 1. But it really felt like we were never getting out of day 1.

yeah out of those first deaths Dunn would have been my pick. I may just be rambling, idk what BB's metric for ghost-neighboring is, just was saying by my own metric Ceph felt like a bad choice.
