So...I basically replaced into a game I had already lost.

Anyway, I like the mechanic and would play another Reverse Mafia.

That's probably too much of a departure from the original, but what about the following setup?
- There is only "dead" and "alive".
- In the beginning, everybody is dead.
- On Day 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 everybody can vote to revive. The role and alignment of a revived player is revealed in-thread.
- On Day 1 and successive days, only the living players can vote for revival. Revived players flip as before.
- Nightless.
- Win condition: more than half of the total town players alive for town, all scum players alive for scum.

Balance and add power roles as necessary.

EBWOP: Town win condition is a little too easy, should probably also be something like "all town players alive".

IceGuy:
That would limit the voting-power of revived scum to quickhammer only.
Also it would make powerroles (assuming no roleblockers) way more powerfull, or roleblockers insanely powerfull.
Or were you considering to make the most powers limbo(dead)-only?
By the way, your mum says hello.

Yes (i.e. they can only be used by players who are alive, but only on players who are still dead), but scum should have a roleblocker to avoid claim-revive scenarios.

Because we thought that there was a reasonable chance that the other players alive at the time would vote for me. We had no idea what Crypto would be like.

Toasty, did I just miss it, or did you never mention that you couldn't target the same player two night in a row? I was figured it was probably the case anyway because I had that in my role, but I was a tad worried about you being able to block malp multiple times in a row.

ToastyToast never mentioned it that I noticed.

That was a fail on my part because I sent my night action in on malpascp twice anyways. But I never mentioned it. I think it was better that way at least.

The game is not balanced, but it wasn't that simple to just revive the vote-switcher out of 12 players. We got some luck on getting Pom revived, that defenitivelly won us the game. But if Bub got revived instead it would be a lot funnier to watch.

GG everyone.

ice: just considered the implications of such mechanics with a cop (cop alive, RB dead, actually came to the conclusion it wouldn`t work with any information:
as soon as 1 dead scum has been identified, the game will be over.
scum cannot manipulate the votes (only quickhammer) as they are known
therefore the only way the detected scum can ever be revived is if scum holds a mayority among the living (in which case they have already won)
By the way, your mum says hello.
