313. Asha Greyjoy (TheBadOne) - Game of Thrones (13th Place)
"It would've been either Shae or Jagen, so I'm not complaining. I was in an alliance with Jagen and Shae, and felt the closest to these two."
Asha's story is one that is somewhat interesting from a strategic perspective, but not from a character one. During her initial traveling group, she aligned with Jaqen and Shae, and remained on a tribe with Jaqen through the second tribal phase without ever going to a TC. So naturally, they were very close. On the new swapped tribes, both her and Jaqen seemed to be in a great position, as they were with Gilly who they spent all of the previous phase with and were on good terms with, and with Shae, who they had an alliance with from the beginning. However, they tried to vote out Jon Snow, who Shae had gotten close to, and instead of hearing out her wishes to not vote Jon, they remained stubborn, turning the TC into Asha vs. Shae. Most of this comes from Shae being a compelling character, and not very much due to Asha, although it does give her a memorable exit. Sadly, the 5 rounds before that exit were filled with... not much.

312. Spyro (kdowns) - Destiny Islands
"Asking me that question is hard as we all equally deserve to win as all three of us have made it to the end."
Spyro locked into an alliance on his starting tribe, and his game plan only really shifted later in terms of which members of that tribe were part of the alliance.
During the tribe swap, he was a constant target, kept in the game by Shadow maneuvering things to keep him alive because of his undying loyalty to Shadow. Starting at the merge, Spyro's game pretty much stops, and he appears to pretty much do whatever Shadow tells him to do for the rest of the game.
At the final four, he shows a glimmer of independent though as he considers turning on ally Zelda, whom he apparently barely speaks to, for being a threat. Then... Shadow tells him not to and that's the end of it.
At the Final Tribal Council, he essentially lays down and dies, even managing to lose Yoshi's vote despite coming in with it seemingly secure. At first he claims to have orchestrated most of the eliminations of the merge, then when pretty much everyone says "uh lol no you didn't do any of those things" he pretty much stops having an argument, and it's clear many of the jurors felt he had no social game either. All in all it looks like the game of the type of player on the show who seems to be under the impression that "we won survivor" is a legitimate thing to say because you win when you have the most friendship.
Even though Shadow was a worthy winner, this game seems like it would've been greatly improved if the yellow alliance had lost, or at least had to face some real obstacles, which is something I expect to address in another cut quite soon.

311. Danny (TS) - Season Finale
"I'm not too worried about winning. Most of the jurors already have their minds made up to vote Jesse which is a little unfair"
In Survivor: Season Finale, Jesse played perhaps the most blatantly dominant, boring game in MS history. Danny was Jesse's sidekick, pretty much.
The problem is that there was no reason why Danny had to fall into that role. By all accounts, Danny played most aspects of the game very well. He was well-liked and built good connections with the other players. In addition to Jesse, he was close to Thomas, reasonably close to Yzma, and had a very close bond with Carmen from the other tribe.
Unfortunately, Danny seemed to have a fairly indifferent attitude to the game. He seemed to feel like a Pagong was simply the fact of the matter, and that going to the end with Jesse was the only possibility. Danny likely would have beaten Nappa handedly, but his confessional does not suggest that he ever considered that to be an option, or that he ever considered any non-Jesse option, really. (The quote above is actually from
before
the F3 immunity challenge.) I guess I could be inspired by Jesse and Danny's mutual loyalty, but I'm not.

Ah at least once I wanted to play without feeling pressured putting on a dazzle for the spectators. I enjoyed rampant unilateral loyalty with great alacrity~
My other games more than compensate for this lack of drama I feel haha¦~

On one hand Magic Kingdom would be my highest ranking. But on the other Botswana would be my lowest, so it's a mixed bag.

Is anyone else terrified to ask for more cuts since it's the fastest way to lose four characters?

Confessionals just need to exist for this process to make any sense unfortunately
Also summertime is the least traumatic survivor experience I've had and moreover shut up :p

It's a shame that PMs can't get catalogued and published post-game.
I'd love for someone who's always popular in games to, as performance art, have no confessionals at all (literally none), so that they're only talked about by everyone else as being really great, but the specs have no idea what's going on.
