What struck me was Cabd didn't seem enthusiastic so I was surprised to see a town read coming out of it. I don't really understand what you mean by "tonal content" and "how vulnerable would scum-Cabd make his strategy with weak presence early on?"
With the lack of certain other factors in the game, I'd be rather alarmed if Cabd had seemed enthusiastic. The tonal content was low key, not enthusiastic and resigned. It bothered me that he wasn't doing much to sort me, but from what I've seen in recent games he'd rather let the sort take place organically, and in fact when he's town he reads me based to some extent on how I read him.
The spiraling read process could become problematic at some point.
That tone fit how I felt fairly well. I felt like we'd accrued a bunch of lazy scumreads from players who either couldn't or wouldn't put in the effort to actually sort us. I bestirred myself because I felt like I had to make a call on Medea at that point because it looked like we'd be the day 1 deadline lynch. Which is why I buttonholed Cabd. Given the day 1 player list, I thought scum-Cabd could probably coast to a win pretty easily.
I didn't mention the one other thing that stood out to me about their day 1 play. 898 and the couple posts before it showed what I think was genuine irritation with how this game was developing. Especially the part about fixing these mistakes. Their play hasn't stepped up significantly since then. And there's been no comment about the arguments for Boonskiies being town. If they are convinced he needs to be lynched today they should be arguing for it. If they're uncertain they should be engaging with some of the arguments others are making.

1059 was mine, yes!
and I agree with you on him not reading the entire game before making his entrance and I agree with you on the fact that he should have probably read HB first, but I don't see how that makes him scum. Why is scum more likely to make a halfinformed decision?
Also I commented on the HB thing, yet you completely ignored me, why?

Because I made istott in 2009. I was being treated like someone with lots of experience, even though I played about one game in 09, then took a break and have just come back. So I made an alt to better reflect my experience.
If you had checked my post explaining this, I wouldn't have needed to repeat.

NOt for you, no!
I do approve of this vote, though

What protown reason is there to vote someone and actively give no explanation. If you're town, you must think im scum, and should therefore be trying to get me lynched. However, a naked vote will not achieve that.
So, why the vote?

Sorry, I don't care enough to expend effort searching for a post that I didn't know existed. You could've just quoted it if typing out the explanation again was such a bother?

You missed a question from one of our heads!
but, there are other things to do with a scum-read other than to try and get them lynched just like there are other things you can do with a vote other than to get them lynched. There is also zero reason to try to explain the reason why one thinks a person is scum to said scum read

A naved vote brings you closer to a lynch the same as a vote with reasons behind it. A naved vote is me letting you vnow that I'm watching you, and me letting you vnow that I thinv you have the best chance of being scum out of anyone here: if votes only meant "I am ready for this lynch now" I would vote a lot less than I do now. Why didn't you respond to my question re: updated antihero read?
