farside - I was always going to be cleared going into day since I was always going to be double voter. What OP should have done is killed me to get the double vote and the hoped that she loggedf on before both of you did. That was his only real chance of winning.

I didn't get myself lynched. Hohum & OP decided it was more important to get me lynched than win the game and its difficult to defend yourself against scum buddies.
OP and Hohum did not play well. We lost because OP didn't busdrive when he had the chance and Hohum went for the obvious kill.

No I would have been the double voter the next day had I lived. OP never had a shot at double voter.Shanba wrote:farside - I was always going to be cleared going into day since I was always going to be double voter. Pretty sure killing you would have given OP the Anytime Mason so that wouldn't have worked. He was pretty SOL. I'd say what he did or faking a successful RB on you were her best options. To me farside was 100% town and DGB about 90%.Shanba wrote:farside - I was always going to be cleared going into day since I was always going to be double voter. Shanba, noted on the Roleblocker->Tracker. I think you are correct the Tracker should get no result, my bad.Role Resolution Order:
JoAT Roleblock
Roleblock
Role Switcher
Role Swapping Blocker
JoAT Jailkeep
Paranoid Gun Owner (Dies if targeted for NK)
JoAT Bus Drive (Only first target matters for tracking, watching and PGO purposes)
Other Night Actions
Scum NK(s)

Empking - I respectfully disagree.

You didn't disagree with it a couple of hours ago.

The simple truth is that hohum superkilled a PGO. That doesn't make sense. There's nothing in the game that can explain it. Except DGB. There aren't any alternative explanations to fall back on like there are with OP jailkeeping emp day 1, for which there are myriad explanations for scum. The only one that has any credence is that it was a gambit, but frankly, I don't think he would have superkilled if it were a gambit. The superkill makes by far more sense if he was trying to off the protown looking player and the tracker. Gambits like that just don'toccurto scum (and as I write this, I am reminded that the last time I wrote it, I was writing it about Oman gambitting as scum, but there you go.)

Yay I thought I would be dead earlier with everyone saying I was town. I had what Shanba, korts and Oman all say I was town.shaft.ed wrote:Pretty sure killing you would have given OP the Anytime Mason so that wouldn't have worked. He was pretty SOL. Damn I'm kicking myself because I read OP as scum day 1 and then took him off because of his claim and Emp's flip as scum.
I think the only one that surprised me was hohum.

That doesn't say what you think it says. It basically says that it would be really stupid to kill a PGO. Which hohum didn't. He was fucked over by good town play not paying enough attention to the roles. TBH, I don't think WIFOMing his nightkill because he was scared of the bus driver would be good play anyway.

He got **** over by town capitalising on Hohum's play, town didn't do it by themselves.Shanba wrote:That doesn't say what you think it says. But Emp bus'ing you was great for the scum. hohum and OP were the most vocal about lynching you and both had cases. Meanwhile at least two town were protecting you, Shanba very intensely. neko's gambit and the poor N2 kill choice were really what did scum in. Even as it was, OP would likely have won had Shanba not ended up with the Double Voter in end game.

Meh, the Doc needed to be killed before the Tracker. As it was, they would have had a failed kill without neko's bus driving.Shanba wrote:That doesn't say what you think it says. The great move that made OP look scummier and left us with one many on day 3.
How can you call something great for the scum when we know doing that lost the game for us?Shanba wrote: I still think his move on to the Empking wagon looks weird, which is more telling now that we know Empking was scum. .

If you were so miffed about it, you might have communicated such concerns in your Anytime Mason thread that you barely even posted in. I was really sad you and OP didn't take any advantage of the daytalking ability.Empking wrote:The great move that made OP look scummier and left us with one many on day 3.How can you call something great for the scum when we know doing that lost the game for us?Shanba wrote: I still think his move on to the Empking wagon looks weird, which is more telling now that we know Empking was scum. .
Yay! Town won. And I gotta say damn good call on me protecting you farside. I have to say it is sad to have seen Neko be replaced, but he most definitely earned the MVP for his bus. Though I do think Farside deserves major props for not only figuring out what the hell happened, but also holding up against emp for not one but TWO days.
See, I didn't like this at all either (See beginning of D2.) I figured worse case would have been getting nothing at all, which would still have resulted in EMP being lynched (More than likely D3 as opposed to D2 of course.) Oh and Shanba...Shanba wrote: I don't like that I was told that no one targeted farside. If a roleblocker blocks someone, he blocks them, he doesn't make them get misleading results. That didn't have an effect on the game but it could very well have done if the tracker, say, had picked up scum and been blocked. No result is a far better way of handling that even if it tells the person he's been blocked. In smalltown like this it's not giving a whole lot away when you confirm that someone is a roleblocker!

First off, I can't believe I made it too endgame. I think if I decided to no kill and blocked Shanba, we could've got Shanba lynched. But of course, he was the double voter.
It wasn't until Night 1 that I realized Tanarin WAS NOT my partner. For some reason, I thought Emp and Tan were my partners, lol, so I just ignored Tan for Day 1, whenever they mentioned me.
I was REALLY annoyed I didn't get to use my JoaT powers - I never jailkept anyone. I wish I had used my powers, but I asked in the quicktopic, and never got a clear answer, and then the day started without me sending in a night action. So I lied and said I jailkept somebody, so the town wouldn't jail keep in the future, and I chose Empking, because that who I was targetting hard, and he was supposed to play along with it, but he didn't. I figured Empking's lynch was inevitable, so I would look a lot better if I supported his lynch outright, instead of trying to get others lynched. I don't regret that. hohum WAS NOT supposed to die that night - actually, I sent in the night kill for somebody else- and since I was the Godfather leader person, I could've overruled hohoum's night kill, probably saving him, but I said no, because hohum knew what he was doing. So..he died.
I thought night killing farside was kind of stupid, and I wish I posted earlier and said "Okay, so I blocked Shanba because I thought he was scum. There was a night action, so it must've been DGB..lalala". But I didn't, cause you too got there first, and I was busy saturday (not sunday like I said)
I did make a case. It was pretty sweet. But my post cleared and it was REALLY frustrating. I doubt it would've convinced you.
I thought going in for today, I was going to be double voter, like you said, but I wasn't.
