What is with this town?
I hope you two are fishing with this...but as far as I'm concerned, no counter = absolutely no lynching. So to see a vote on an uncountered doc claim as of this point is just WTF to me.

I have a town read on Fonz....He was second towniest IMO after the now dead Guderian...at least as of the end of day 1...I'm forming more opinions as I go...Either way, for "as of page 35 Consigliere" it's going to take a serious change in direction to (a) move my vote of hikari and (b) put my vote on jason. Of course...Still more pages to read....KageLord wrote:

I'm thinking The Fonz vs. DH is town v. town. I'm pretty confident on my Fonz read but am less sure about DH.
Town vibes from Consigliere. The first game we played together he trolled, hence the PL suggestion.
But seriously this day seems to have stalled... I definitely say we lynch off the Mist wagon.ShowTown 8/4

Why is everyone still considering a mist wagon lynch? We have a nearly 50% chance to hit scum if we lynch the non mist voters.
Just by pure statistics alone, its a bad decision to do otherwise.- KageLord

Could you explain the math used there? I'm pretty sure it's not so simple. I mean, technically, if there are no 3rd party roles, there is a 50% chance of hitting scum when lynching anyone. But, if you're talking about something different, I don't know how you can calculate so simply (since, given the sheer number of town players, it is always more likely that in any group of people you will hit town than scum).DemonHybrid wrote:Why is everyone still considering a mist wagon lynch? @Consigliere: Your last two posts seem to contradict each other. You yell at boberz and ribwich for wanting to lynch the doc, then say you're planning on voting the doc. Please clarify.
@Kage: The discussion took place on Pgs 40 and 41, I believe. Basically, Sens is a sensor, and sensed 2 scum on the Mist wagon. So 2/13 shot at hitting scum if we lynch someone from there. Assuming a 6-scum team or two 3-scum teams, as is customary, that leaves 4 scum off the wagon. Deer wasn't on the wagon, and Mist wouldn't have voted herself, so 4/8 shot hitting scum if we lynch someone off the wagon. Someone please correct me if I got that wrong.Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Also, those using the excuse that "We should hit the harder to find scum first":
Use your brain. Lynching scum faster gives us more information in a timely manner. Less mislynches to deal with. Lynching scum asap is a good thing.
Honestly, if it's one of the non mist voters, I'd be down to lynch ANY of them. ~44% is such a high probability to gain a ton of information.- Consigliere

On page 40 now and currently my list of "Folks that I wouldn't mind lynching and would jump on a strong united-town lynching of:"
hikari
ribwich
DemonHybrid
Second tier of suspects...Folks that I would lynch with little regret, but feel less confident about:
PMS Willie
boberz
____
Folks that I won't vote for today unless something dramatic happens:
Fonz
Jason
Still working on reads on the rest. Have some that I feel lean scum, but since I have such conviction-laden reads on the above, "bigger fish to fry" principle is in order.

If your vote is on one of the following people:
hiraki, SensFan, jasonT1981, The Fonz, sottyrulez, DarlaBlueEyes, LlamaFluff, KageLord, DemonHybrid, Nero Cain, Mariyta, boberz, ribwich
You are doing it -wrong-. Regardless of how scummy they are.

Incorrect... that information is to be used as the game goes on to help get town or scum reads. If you think someone on Mist wagon is scum, that claim should NOT dissuade those thoughts at all.DemonHybrid wrote:If your vote is on one of the following people:

SA still continues to set off all kinds of bells. This time probably due to a majority of his scumhunting being wagon analysis on unflipped players with no real conclusions at the end of it.- DemonHybrid

Could you explain what you mean? I don't see how either one of those posts have anything to do with fishing.Consigliere wrote:

It shouldn't change your read on somebody if they were one of the people voting Mist, but unless you think Sens is faking, you should not be voting for one of them right now. There's nobody that's been scummy enough that I would rather lynch them over a person that has almost a 50% chance of being scum before even looking at anything else that player has done.LlamaFluff wrote: Incorrect... that information is to be used as the game goes on to help get town or scum reads. I'm still unsure on who I'm going to be voting for. Honestly the majority of the people not on the Mist wagon were players I hadn't gotten much of a read on yet, so now I'm stuck in a situation where I'm forced to get a read on them. I should have my thoughts on them by tomorrow."ROLEFISHING ROLEFISHING OMGOBVSCUMRAWR weeEEEEEEEEEOOOOOooooo" - Vi- LlamaFluff

Yes, even then. If I think that someone on the mist wagon has GREATER then a 50% chance to be scum, then its better then taking an off the wagon stab. If we are lynching off the wagon its not going to be anyone but SA or nacho at this point.DemonHybrid wrote:Even with a nearly 50% chance?

Dear SA, we do know that Jason claimed as a Doctor.
Why blindly say that to public when you're about to be lynched?
Risky, Very risky claim, yet Suspicious.
About the mist wagon, it's very obvious that there were more than 50% scum on the wagon, since we were lynching a VI here.
Of course, we probablyallknow scums would want to lynch an idiot.

I cant believe how ugly that last votecount is. Hell a wagon of Hikari would be better then the crap we are pulling off right now just because it would give us some damn info.
