Ok...I just got through the day 1 lynch...Not one of you town-sided folk even bothered to say "Yeah, it's a Simpsons mafia with 24 players...so there's definitely a Homer Simpson in it....and ask for a counter on Mist's claim?


Side Note: I've actually played a Simpsons mafia before where Wiggum was a cop that got wrong investigations and Marge was the sheriff...so maybe that isn't that weird to me...but this does not change the fact that nobody countered Homer and not ONE person called it out...Talk about making it easy on the mafia. Sheesh.

This is just to avoid getting a prod. I'm still here, but I've been busy. I've just been skimming through things so far, but jason's early claim stuck out to me. I want to say that if he is fakeclaiming, the real doctor should stay quiet right now. I'll explain why I feel this way and actually get completely caught up by tomorrow.

I hope you two are fishing with this...but as far as I'm concerned, no counter = absolutely no lynching. So to see a vote on an uncountered doc claim as of this point is just WTF to me.

I have a town read on Fonz....He was second towniest IMO after the now dead Guderian...at least as of the end of day 1...I'm forming more opinions as I go...Either way, for "as of page 35 Consigliere" it's going to take a serious change in direction to (a) move my vote of hikari and (b) put my vote on jason. Of course...Still more pages to read....

Could you explain the math used there? I'm pretty sure it's not so simple. I mean, technically, if there are no 3rd party roles, there is a 50% chance of hitting scum when lynching anyone. But, if you're talking about something different, I don't know how you can calculate so simply (since, given the sheer number of town players, it is always more likely that in any group of people you will hit town than scum).

@Consigliere: Your last two posts seem to contradict each other. You yell at boberz and ribwich for wanting to lynch the doc, then say you're planning on voting the doc. Please clarify.

@Kage: The discussion took place on Pgs 40 and 41, I believe. Basically, Sens is a sensor, and sensed 2 scum on the Mist wagon. So 2/13 shot at hitting scum if we lynch someone from there. Assuming a 6-scum team or two 3-scum teams, as is customary, that leaves 4 scum off the wagon. Deer wasn't on the wagon, and Mist wouldn't have voted herself, so 4/8 shot hitting scum if we lynch someone off the wagon. Someone please correct me if I got that wrong.

Use your brain. Lynching scum faster gives us more information in a timely manner. Less mislynches to deal with. Lynching scum asap is a good thing.

Honestly, if it's one of the non mist voters, I'd be down to lynch ANY of them. ~44% is such a high probability to gain a ton of information.

It shouldn't change your read on somebody if they were one of the people voting Mist, but unless you think Sens is faking, you should not be voting for one of them right now. There's nobody that's been scummy enough that I would rather lynch them over a person that has almost a 50% chance of being scum before even looking at anything else that player has done.

I'm still unsure on who I'm going to be voting for. Honestly the majority of the people not on the Mist wagon were players I hadn't gotten much of a read on yet, so now I'm stuck in a situation where I'm forced to get a read on them. I should have my thoughts on them by tomorrow.

Why Fonz given the tracer result?

Tracer result doesnt force us to lynch a certain way, you still lynch the best scum bet on scumhunting. This just gives us some ideas of who could be scum.

This whole thing between Sens and Fonzie is just really distracting though.
