And another thing that's scummy in that is that you thought about how you will appear in each case - which isn't what town would typically think. If you went through the thought process of "if I answer this I will seem scummy, if I do this I'll still seem scummy", you're most likely scum.

I did that because you're question sounded odd to me, it looked like you wanted to put it on me regardless of what i reply, as i said, win-win for scum.

Wisdom, your reads are pretty spot-on. I hate giving my reads because then I get asked "why" and then I can get murdered for having shit gut feelings and no "valid" reasons.
