but, there are other things to do with a scum-read other than to try and get them lynched just like there are other things you can do with a vote other than to get them lynched. There is also zero reason to try to explain the reason why one thinks a person is scum to said scum read

Well, if said scum read is borne out of a misunderstanding, explaining the scumread can clear it up. Arent votes used to lynch?
I suppose I just find it frustrating when someone won't explain reasoning when it negatively impacts me.
P.edit: crap, I forgot about that question. Now, I'm gonna be out for about 10 hours (I'm doing Christmas shopping, then going to an 18th), but I'll try to respond when I get home. Sorry.

What protown reason is there to vote someone and actively give no explanation. If you're town, you must think im scum, and should therefore be trying to get me lynched. However, a naked vote will not achieve that.
So, why the vote?

A naved vote brings you closer to a lynch the same as a vote with reasons behind it. A naved vote is me letting you vnow that I'm watching you, and me letting you vnow that I thinv you have the best chance of being scum out of anyone here: if votes only meant "I am ready for this lynch now" I would vote a lot less than I do now. Why didn't you respond to my question re: updated antihero read?

It doesn't really bring me closer to a lynch, as you're not trying to get other people to vote for me, your top scumread.

What we are doing now is attempting to solidify a read on you: generally campaigning for a lynch comes after you're at least somewhat sure of it. Also on the flip side, what's the scum motivation of putting a vote on you if we aren't trying to get you lynched with it?

Ankamius is my best guess for scum right now. I don't know. His non-reaction to the votes on him is a null tell to some, but to me it reads scummy. I feel like town would have a more active reaction to being voted by someone they just attacked. Maybe scum trying not to say OMGUS? Hm.

Why is Boonsviies "too easy"?
Are you familiar with Ank's meta?

Negatively affects me in a psychological way. Someone is scumreading me and I have no idea why.

An 18th birthday party of a close friend.

I didn't actually think of it like that. I don't know the scum motivation. But the town motivation makes some sort of sense, except for this:
If you aren't even somewhat sure of me being scum, why am I your top scumread?

Because I know they're wrong, and there's nothing I can do to convince you otherwise.

Otherwise meaning convince you that I'm town.

But why would you want to waste time and energy convincing just one person that they're wrong when you could be scumhunting instead?

Right now it seems like you're more concerned about your own survival than lynching scum.

"Negatively affects me in a psychological way" - exactly. If you're scum, we are putting you in a remarkably awkward position of us being right about you being scum and you having no idea why, which increases your likelihood of slipping up. As town, putting you on edge also usually makes you easier to read because you're more likely to just nervously/honestly ramble about things.

You're a not particularly strong scumread 1) because I haven't read most of the game and don't have a whole lot of strong reads at the moment. I didn't like your early game posting because never really came out of your shell and gave any stances that would be a risk for you as scum. I like the angle you're taking at the moment, but I'm far more interested in the Antihero/reads conversation we are going to have down the line.
