Oh, I didn't think you did. I just never bothered to check, until the day after, only to see I wasn't the dv.Shanba wrote:Hrm
I didn't claim that you would be double voter in order to confuse you, I just misread the way the roles rotated. But it would have been a nice wheeze
Was that Fire Emblem when I countered Albert?Shanba wrote:(and as I write this, I am reminded that the last time I wrote it, I was writing it about Oman gambitting as scum, but there you go.)
Oh man, great ending to fantastic flavour. It really brought out a lot in the game. Well done.FLAVR wrote:"Damn it I still didn't get laid"
An accurate statement. I agree on these. Shanba I had you pinned as town early on but was really scared that you were just outsmarting me.Shanba wrote:When I stated day 1 that I had a certain amount of townreads that list was basically farside, Korts, Oman. Farside continued to look pro-town throughout the whole game and was fairly accurate in her scumreads.
Really really interesting, man. I thought that this was a stunning idea that allowed the Bus driver to make an impact on this game.Shaft.ed wrote:JoAT Bus Drive (Only first target matters for tracking, watching and PGO purposes)
I flipped twice on Empking, I felt like such a fool when I went back to him being scum after thinking he was town for a while.Shaft.ed wrote:But Emp bus'ing you was great for the scum.
Oman wrote:Heh. This is why games aren't fun any more. People like you who think fun and mafia are mutually exclusive. [/url]
I was talking to a few people about how my favourite game of all time is still Fire Emblem, which had a lot of fun jokes, the mod posting some great .gifs and Primate posting in the game for a page or two. even though he wasn't playing. It had a role PM post by ryan and a real good vibe even as we killed each other. My issue is that in trying to bring such a good mood to this game, I was voted by Tanarin for "trying to distract the town". IIRC, Fire Emblem was a town win, they did excellently, and I only got as far as I did because of a good role and a gambit that worked in my favour. So if you ask me, yes, we can use a mafia game as a platform to have fun and promote hilarity, and yes we can also play those games to win. I just think that we're moving into the SRSBISNESS side of the internet, and ms.net was never about that, it has always been about the community over the game. And perhaps we're slowly losing that. And that truly makes me very sad and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.
Said the fag, right?
It was more the way they reacted to each other when OP jailed Emp. That didn't look like a partnership.shaft.ed wrote:Also farside, In regards to OP jailing Empking as the tracker. That actually makes some sense as a scum move. They didn't know they were the only faction, and if there was a SK it would be possible they'd want to take out a useful powerrole. So like was mentioned if he though Emp was scummy roleblocking made much more sense than Jailkeeping because of the protective side effect.
