Nope! Inte I'm not going to get into a debate with you about your predecessors. I've posted why I had scum reads on them more than once, I'm not going to do it again and I'm not going to argue about them. You'll say that Pizza is a bad player; bad players get scum roles too. I don't know what you'll say about Split, but I know he can do better than he did while he was here.

I get it, I've replaced in to both situations. In NY146, most people thought I was the SK upon replacing in and no amount of me trying to prove why my predecessor couldn't have done it swayed anyone. My play, and a technicality, is what made people change their minds. In Closed Normal, I replaced in to a slot a lot of people thought was scum. I complained every time someone attacked me through my predecessor that our playstyles were different and they needed to focus on me. Didn't change the fact that I was, in fact, scum.

The point is, my scum reads on your predecessors are not going to change, but I didn't end up voting you because of your predecessors. You've done almost nothing since replacing in to change my mind. Still, rather than answering the question that I asked you, you want to get into a debate with me over why I'm wrong about your predecessors. That feels completely survivalistic to me, and makes you look even more suspicious.

I noticed you recently voted Vijay. Why do you have a scum read on Vijay? You said you were considering SB earlier, what are your thoughts on him now? (I can't remember exactly what you said and I dont have time to look it up.)

I have no idea who BBT Penny is so im asking to see if they make sense as a VT.

First - for my character and the characters that have flipped, flavor + characters seem to make sense [though, admittedly, I don't know the Father Dougal character Korlash flipped]
Second - Penny could make sense as a VT. However, she usually plays the "straight man" to everyone elses jokes [she's just the hotty next door that the nerds are trying to understand - even the female nerds]. Since we don't have a scum flip yet, it's equally possible the "straight man" in these comedies are the scum. I don't know how else he VOICE OF MOD: would do it.
Third - Since most people build these games not to break with mass claim, it is ALSO likely scum have fake claims. So any claim will need to be taken with a grain of salt.

All right, so SB...and other thoughts...

Read his iso, read Knox's.

I originally just had a gut scum read on Knox when I read through day one. There was just something that felt off about his interaction with MoI. I'm not going to read through it again, because new slot so it doesn't matter all that much.

I have the same gut read on SB. He votes Yates for being on a wagon with Korlash while pushing Korlash. I'm all meh about that type of reasoning as it's a kind of shallow reasoning that I see scum use all the time to push mislynches because they sound so reasonable.

He says he's keeping an eye on me due to my predecessors but won't read anything I write to make a determination of my slot...feels weird. He said that when he replaced in and I got the feeling that he was leaving himself open to sway whichever way the wind blew on my slot.

The only real strong opinion he's had on anything is that Vijay is town. I don't know what to make of that, but other than that I'm not getting a sense that he's trying to figure this game out. And, I realize that this game has been a bit...

odd

in that we're all having a hard time getting scum reads on people but he doesn't really seem interested in finding scum. The interaction with people has been meh.

Inte's more recent statement that he looked at the vca and decided he didn't want to vote for Pere makes me feel a little better about him though. I really wish he'd get off of the whole we think he's scum through his predecessor thing. Anecdotal evidence or not, it's still valid. Show me why I shouldn't be voting for you!!! I'm not set in my ways. I've been known to tunnel on someone for two weeks and change my mind based on a single post that I read as genuine. (Pedit: I see you're contributing more and it looks good.)

If there is not scum in inte/SB then hmmm....I guess I'd give Hez a look but he's read town to me since replacing in. That aggressive approach and way he spoke to Korlash sounded to me like he really believed he'd found scum, also his interactions with me concerning Korlash. If he is scum, he's got a good ruthless approach, that I just haven't seen very often. I can't get to scum with Hez because of it.

I think that if either of inte or Pere is scum the other isn't. At the very beginning of day Pere voted Hez (I think). I voted SB. Pere then voted SB and almost immediately after Pizza voted SB. I think this lessens the chance that both of them are scum. (I don't normally do vca or wagon analysis, but I think this is really odd behavior for partners.)

@inte: The slip was legitimate. I read the exact same thing. Korlash not seeing the "slip" (yes I realize that the man flipped town but not seeing an obvious slip suggests to me you have additional information that we don't) is part of the reason I voted for him in the first place.

Also: I have EVERY intention of hammering you unless you can switch this wagon around to PereV. I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU ARE CALLING HIM SCUM AND NOT VOTING FOR HIM AT DEADLINE.
