I've seen metal sonic play rather anti-town as town before, but his near-pride in ignoring a swath of the game doesn't sit well.

That's a bit of a non-answer, don't you think? Let's try to get a bit more specific.

Do you think Desperado is telling the truth about being a Bus Driver?
Do you think Desperado was legitimately exasperated at the wagon that formed on him or do you think it was an act?
Why do you suppose TheIrishPope only saw Desperado targeting one player last night when Desperado claims to have targeted two players?
Between TheIrishPope and Desperado, who is more likely to be reporting false results (either knowingly or unknowingly)?

Apologies for all the questions, but I want to put my Town read of you to the test.
Not sure who this was directed...but...IMO...probably telling the truth on Bus Driver...only evidence against is TheIrishPope's assertion that he visited only him last night...but Desperado did quickly point out that TheIrishPope had an incomplete report...he didn't need to do that...the whole EMO breakdown...pointing fingers at the Mod doesn't help...legit or act...wifom...who cares? TiphaineDeath muddied the water as well...pointing another finger at the Mod...then goes LOA...guess he could be a scum mate trying to get the pressure dialed down off Desperado...if Desperado flips that way...I'd look hard at him...not sure what game dynamic could have caused either to get a false report...as to their meta...I've never played with either prior to this game.

@MS: Please actually be active in this game. Otherwise, you're aware that coasting and not taking an active hand in the game can come off as pretty scummy, right? It certainly doesn't help town.
You really need to put forth some effort here, because this relationship is all about us getting out what other put in. If you put nothing in, it makes me really doubt you, and when I doubt you, I want to lynch you.

NS, feel free to check my other games with Metal Sonic.
I won't link them, some are incomplete.
He's always like this, and coaching, in this instance, is null.
As a player, I want to see him actually be active.
I'm also simultaneously exposing his inactivity and how anti-town it is.

Feel free to contribute something other than tossing fire.

Metal Sonic smells like an easy mislynch to me. Something about it doesn't feel right.

Penguin_Alien's activity so far is eerily reminiscent of her play in WWE Mafia (where she was Scum). What do you think, Desperado? It's not just me, is it?

I have my doubts about TiphaineDeath too, but trust me when I say that Desperado is most likely Town.

My vote for him in 1016 was pretty shitty. How did Desperado react? He got upset because he felt that I was insulting his intelligence. If he was Scum, he would have attacked the vote itself and tried to emphasize how shitty it was. He would have pointed out that
I
was the one who was wrong, not get upset at the implication that
he
was the one who had made an error.

You're starting to sound an awful lot like roflcopter, you know that? "Hey guys, so-and-so is Scum and we should lynch him. Why? Because I said so."

Refresh my memory: what was roflcopter's alignment again?

With only 9 posts it's hard to say. Although PA's lack of presence is problematic in itself.

Sweet buttery Jesus, this just hit me like a bolt of lightning.

At this point in the game, I feel pretty confident that Pope and Desperado are both Town. Desperado says he switched Pope and Boxxy last night while Pope says he tracked Dsperado and only saw him visiting one target (Pope himself). How can they both be telling the truth? Answer: Boxxy is a Ninja. I will bet you an undisclosed amount of money that Boxxy is a Ninja or something similar. And how often are Ninjas aligned with the Town?

A quick perusal of Boxxy's ISO turned up a few interesting morsels.
In post 485, boxxy wrote:As for scum reads, I'm looking at Varsoon and rolfcopter. Varsoon's case against zoid is weak and is trying to drive attention away from Zoid's case on rofl, which although being a largely speculation, actually has some merit beyond "OMG He scum slipped clearly."
Translation: "If a player Scum slips, we shouldn't make a big deal out of it."
In post 563, boxxy wrote:I say we get rolfcopter first, then we don't risk losing a cop between Zoid and Varsoon. If rofl flips town then we lynch Zoidberg and hope we have a PR that can keep Varsoon alive through the night.
Now suddenly Varsoon is worth keeping around. Also setting up the future mislynch of Zoidberg.
In post 921, boxxy wrote:If Zoidberg continues to catch scum, it doesn't matter to me what his alignment is, we can lynch him when he stops being useful.
Again, pushing the mislynch of Zoidberg -- which, at that point in the game, was looking like an inevitability. I don't like the casual mention of keeping him around for a while but then lynching him when he "stops being useful." This is not a Town mindset.

Skull I'm not following. My understanding of a Ninja is that they are not seeing targeting anyone, not that someone targeting the Ninja will appear to have not visited them.

Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong role then. A player that can't be tracked, whatever it's called.

Pope didn't see you targeting Boxxy because Boxxy has a role that can't be tracked, and roles like that are more often Scum-sided than Town-sided. That's what I'm trying to say.

Here's the deal. I now have the ability to do a 200-game study on how town/scum have used any set of words. I can do other stuff, too, but it only takes me ~4 minutes to do a "set of words" study. I have already done a study on single words and am currently in the process of learning how to figure out if a finding is statistically significant.

Anyone have any ideas relevant to this game that I can use this ability for?

Mmm. Well, do you have a better explanation for why he didn't see you target Boxxy? I have a feeling that finding the truth behind this discrepancy will lead us to Scum.

I fear that it won't, skull. My guess is that Monkey does not consider me a multi-visiting role because I don't commit two separate actions, so on a track or watch they will receive only the first name that I visit.
