Firstly, it has little potential of finding scum. Secondly, relative to picking a person at random and doing the exact same thing, it's not superior in a single aspect and inferior in more than one aspect. I'll go as far as to say that your plan is possibly one of the worst things she could do with her abilities. I'd be extremely surprised if she disagrees with it being a terrible plan.
1) Finding scum is not the only use of informative roles.
2) It's superior by limiting the choices scum has tonight. How is it inferior? You haven't addressed this.
3) Cool story.
4) Has been covered already.

I wanted to see if he'd point out essentially what you just did. It's no big deal; I'm pretty sure he wouldn't.

Also I like how you dropped points 1 and 3 in my formatted post to focus on arguing 2.

Town makes conscious effort to scumhunt, scum like spam so they can just fade away in the noise.

Now stop stalling
That has literally nothing to do with replacing out.

Here. ISO Tochica.

How convenient that you could add 4) now - and ironic that you did. I obviously don't buy that you didn't read the subsequent posts in which ff pointed that out.

Finding scum is superior to finding town, which is why using the strat on a strong town read is inferior to using it on a weak one (i.e. a scum read).

The limiting of choices scum has does not affect them in any negative way. In fact, they are only limited in the sense that they now can avoid obstacles that would otherwise be hidden (had the person been picked at random).

ff, seriously, do you buy that Majiffy is convinced that his plan is pro-town? It's disgusting that he's still trying to justify it.

also...strongest town read
not cleared
because we don't know if there are 2 scum or 1 in this set up.

well...up to 2 of us don't know.

Please don't dodge. Just tell me if you really believe that he still thinks his plan is pro-town, or if you think he's a town who is just arguing because of his ego, or if you think he's a scum who is arguing because he wants to seem stupid (which would excuse suggesting that plan).

If you think there are more options, do add them.

why are you asking me about my read on majiffy, fery?

that seems what has been so contingent wrt as to why I am "ruining my indie cred". so are you town reading him now? what happened to your for sure town read on buldey?

1) Uh... ok? Sorry she posted? :?

2) Not really. Finding town can often result in a greater increase in town's ability to win. POE, bouncing reads off people you trust, etc.

3) We don't know what power roles town might have to play with. Potential Cops or Docs can go elsewhere, which could result in a guilty or doc save.

Almost certainly not 3. 2 is the typical scum team in a Micro (< 10p) here. It'll be 2 or less.

also, I wasn't talking about scum in "potentially 3". Of the three of us arguing about whether your plan is protown, at least one doesn't know how big the scum team. potentially all 3 of us. 2 is an approximation.

Try again. Tomorrow there will be 5 non-assassin players. Probably 5 players, period. It will either be 3-2 or 4-1 depending on the day 1 cardflip if there are currently 2 scum.

If there is currently 1 scum then it's 4-1 if the game doesn't end with today's lynch.

There's so very little margin for error.
