Probably wouldn't have either way. Really it was just going through the motions hoping scum did something to screw things up badly.

At this point though its a draw. If you aren't wolf (not even really sure of that) and they want to take the gamble that you aren't just fakeclaiming town (as I said, it was right move for town) then that happens. Our only other chance is to actually hit wolf though, which if you are mafia (or town for that matter) you wont do because it would result in your death the next day.

What were you even hoping for? If you thought I was a wolf, you should have lynched me, and as you say, my claim shouldn't have made a difference.

I actually agree with this. I mean, no mafia would claim today because it means they'd be lynched tomorrow if the wolf dies

@DP: Well, what do you expect a Mafioso to do if they're being run up for a lynch, knowing that they can bargain over the fact that it will also cause a Town loss?

If I was wolf killing wrong would mean I lose. I would need to trust you didn't see that as the correct move as town, which I wouldn't be able to. At times its better to take what you have for sure instead of to take a risk and lose it all.

The game is drawn unless wolf wants to put a very high risk for what is nowhere near a guaranteed reward. Its really that simple.

Yes Aldus, I think mafia would just take the loss in that case because claiming maf would get you lynched by town if wolf gets lynched. Other wise, maf wouldn't care if town loses and wolf wins if they lose anyway. So I DONT believe your maf claim. I think youre wolf. Besides, after asking ME yesterday if I wanted to counter claim YU (which sounded like elimination of seer clears) pretty much what makes you not maf and wolf who claimed for convenience.

If it comes to elle or Llama for the actual mafia., I dont know.

Really though, that's super stupid, considering I had no reason to log onto that account any more, so that was practically the last chance I had to altslip.

The obvious answer is that you said that 1) If I had to be Town or Mafia, I was Town; and 2) that if you had to pick Mafia you would pick DP. This is actually relevant to my win condition.

Well this is rather anticlimactic, but with 4 votes that's enough to no lynch. The werewolf has already contacted me privately and said that he too wishes to call it a draw. I've one foot out the door already, so I'll do a full write up and all that when I get back in a couple hours.

So there you were. The four of you. Sitting in a circle, waiting for someone to make a move. No one dared to even blink, because you all knew that one wrong move could be the death of you.

There were a couple nervous coughs, and then you had a dawning realization. You didn't actually have to kill anyone else. What was the point? you thought. You just wanted to survive. The other deaths were unfortunate, but that didn't meant that the rest of you deserve the same. Then you remembered the Warden's Office. Likely he would have a key and you could all just leave. It was that easy, right? No one had any objections, so the four of you made your way upstairs.

You broke down the door and found the poor Warden tied to his chair with a blood stained rope. He had clearly been dead for awhile. On his desk was his key ring. You grabbed it and opened the front gate. It was just dusk and the cool wind was a refreshing change from the stale, metal air of the asylum. Freedom at last.

Two of you bolt the moment the doors opened. One went to the nearby forest and the other to the parking lot where a limousine was waiting. They were gone in a flash, leaving only elleheathen and LlamaFluff wondering what the hell had gotten into Alduskkel and why DoctorPepper had his own chauffeur. Then they played patty cake, free from the worries of death.

Ironically this was not that last time that the werewolves and the Mhorkville Mafia were destined to meet, but for now they left intact. And everyone lived happily ever after. The end.

Mafia are lucky they got away with a draw after getting two members lynched. Town I feel a bit sorry for since they only mislynched once but still got stuck with a draw. On the other hand, I kind of felt like I got dragged down by the Om/SV slot -- mostly Om. I sent SV over to Mhork as a replacement because I wanted/needed a competent partner to secure a win but I feel like SV just dicked around.

You might think it was completely ridiculous for me to protect Om/SV so much, but keep in mind I ALMOST got the Aeronaut lynch, but then he had to replace out. LF was a better replacement for Aeronaut than SV was for Om. On the other hand, I think the initial team of Om/Gnomeo would not have survived (in other words I am tooting my own horn as a replacement for Gnomeo), so you could argue that replacements helped the Wolves, too.

Anyway, I could have gone for an endgame with LF/elle/myself, but I had no way to tell that elle would continue to think I was not a Wolf after DP flipped Mafia; for that matter, I couldn't be sure DP was Mafia in the first place, but if I wanted to win he was a mandatory kill because he thought I was a Wolf.

Interesting result in the end. I think that a draw is still very unlikely in the setup, given that Mafia/Wolf cooperation is so difficult to secure. Despite how it might appear, I was still attempting to win up until the very end: I essentially trying to prod LF into giving bad responses so that -- for some reason -- DP would decide to vote LF, and then I would immediately hammer. Of course, this was essentially banking on DP not being Mafia, which as we know was not the case.
