I think my Fav. Comment on the twitter links is the one where they say to bring a "real game" to the circuit, and then post Hash Tag Gears and COD.
I laughed for a good 10 minutes at that.

If the Super Bowl was rigged so a team who had never gotten rings won in exchange for a cut of the prize money, people would be up in arms. Same with the Italian football match-fixing, same in Brood War before fixing was stomped out. If any "e-sport" wants to be taken seriously, they have to be held accountable to the rules, and Riot need to make it clear that no amount of being a big personality in the scene like Saintvicious or... that one guy from Dignitas... is going to see you get away with this shit without serious punishment. In the short term, I'm sure Riot's Chinese overlords will be happy that the big teams will stick around because they're not getting punished. In the long term, anyone who cares about LoL growing as an E-sport and a community will be wondering just how prevalent things like this are just because they're not being dealt with properly.

The difference in money between the super bowl and MLG makes that a silly fucking comparison. Also The team itself pays the members. Unlike E-Sports teams. TSM doesn't pay each individual member regardless of wins.
Also there were pleanty of matchs worthy of being watched in the tourney where ghostfrog is also just being silly.

People like watching teams play real games, in which they're actually trying to win. Let's take this situation to its extreme. Let's say every match of a tournament is fixed. None of the games mean anything and no one tries that hard. You know who's going to win and you know it's because their opponents are letting them win. Why would anyone watch that? Let's say you knew beforehand that Dignitas was going to win and that Curse was going to let them win. Would you have been anywhere near as interested in the finals? I doubt it.
You absolutely can not have teams fixing matches if you want people to watch them play.

I actually thought they didn't really agree to let Curse win, just to play ARAM and then split the prize money. Could be wrong.
Clearly, they shouldn't have done it and I am surprised more sanctions haven't been raised.

Curse is saying they only agreed to the aram, while dignitas hasn't really said anything yet. Basically, everyone jumping to conclusion based on one side of the story (aram still pretty unprofessional though).

A lot of what's being said is all rumors and speculation. Don't take it for fact just because some sources make it out to be. The only confirmed thing is the ARAM.

When it happened in Brood War with the whole sAviOr incident, those involved all received lengthy (if not lifetime) bans from KeSPA. The fact that the only sanctions against Curse and Dignitas is barely even a slap on the wrist in comparison is the most disappointing thing in all this, as is the fact that it was widely known before the final even started and they still played it out. Both teams should at the least have been banned from the next Season 2 Circuit event. As it is, they pretty much get what they wanted in the first place - Dignitas are still comfortably 3rd, Curse are still comfortably 4th. The money lost isn't huge compared to other events on the circuit, either.
All of them got lifetime bans from KeSPA, and most have been told by GOM that they would not be welcome.

Okay, I didn't read enough, I guess. It's still completely unacceptable though.

SO JAX
HE'S PRETTY DAMN GOOD
Been screwing around with him on Dominion (because I obviously need to play more junglers) and he's great.
Other than that I'm still here. >_>

Dude, ranked is pretty damn stupid. I don't know how that math worked where in 300 games with a 60% win you'll be at 1900, I have a 60% win on the day and I am right where I started. 0 Elo gain from 3 wins 2 losses.

Can someone tell me if the NA Regionals banner will be a new Sona skin and/or if they're handing out codes?
Cause like, I want that skin.

I'm not sure, All I know is it's called Arcade Sona
http://www.surrenderat20.net/2012/08/8- ... pdate.html
I might have to learn to sona just for the ddr ult animation
We do have an exciting new skin for Sona in this build. Feast your eyes upon Arcade Sona. Her model name is "PaxSona" but it has been confirmed that she will not be exclusive to the upcoming PAX event; she will enter the store and be available for everyone.

Taric is a solidly tanky support with the ability to be a cause for a lot of pain (less than leona, but grants tankiness to the ad) and also sustain himself / his ad at a decent level if you aren't constantly trading (more than sona, less than soraka).
This is no fun for trying to trade. Combined with the ability to shred your ad AND provide post-six a damage steroid on low as shit cd, it is really no fun. Taric's actually a pretty solid support to counter kill lanes. Buritzcurankuh pulls your ad? Stun their ad, heal your ad, walk away. Leona jumps your
beautiful
fabulous ass? Stun her ad, walk up to it, hit w, turnaround initiations. 0 fucks.
Taric works best with people who can abuse the early level strength - sivir, graves (taric w + graves passive is lulz), ez, maybe mf - but he is still a solid pick with most ads due to the fact he IS versatile in lane. Decent sustain free tankiness to the team, damage steroid to the team (w AND ult count for this), and a solid single target stun (plus okay healing). Very very good utility. Not as hard cc.

I personally prefer Karma over Taric, but it's personal preference really. Combined with a decent melee dasher or jumper, she's golden.
Unrelated, spectating a buddy of mine playing teemo on bot paired up with an AD soraka.
The soraka is running the most kills of the team and overall doing best...

You're being silly if you think Taric has better sustain than Sona.

Taric has better big-chunk single target sustain, Sona has better piecemeal AoE sustain.

Right, and Soraka does his job better than he does in that level.
Unless you're hitting creeps (which you shouldn't be) you won't out sustain Sona with Taric.

Found your problem. You hit minions but don't kill them when playing Taric. Taric has mana sustain this way as well btw.
Also keep in mind taric's aura is a larger decrease on damage than sona's so he
needs to heal less
.
