Two things:
1. What do you make of RCE's letter?
2. Who is the Bugbear?

My answers are: 1) it's true, and 2) you are. If you're actually not the Bugbear, then I'm wrong on #2. Help me find the answer.

Let me be candid: I don' know and I don't care. It's the TOWN's problem, and they haven't been too cooperative with me for some time now, so.. *Shrug*

I mean, there is no guarantee that even if I manage to somehow guess who the bugbear is that you are going to believe me anyway. You'd still lynch me first to make sure it isn't me. To make a long long LONG story short, I am resigned to being lynched, but wanted to make a point for post-game bragging rights.

I would've used FL's phrase about surface level thinking, but I seriously doubt YOU (with all the experience you have) would be so shallow, so I am now VERY skeptical about you.

Of course gobble wanted to get lynched, but the true objective was to throw Town off by letting them think the cult is over with his & dave's lynches. The Town still looks for Mafia because the game isn't over and the Cult win the game because they will be safely growing and undetected.

Tell me something: Let's just say I get lynched and I flip Survivor. Now what are you all going to do? OK, now let's assume what you think is the case, and say that I flip Mafia for the sake of argument, and that you lynch gobble tomorrow and the game isn't over (it most probably won't be because you'd still be at 10 players anyway). Now what are you going to do? Now let's add one more layer of hypothetical assumptions and say that you let Elements shoot tonight so the game would end after the gobble lynch (according to what you are promoting) and then you find the game is still not over with 7 players alive (assuming Element & ML left already). Now WHAT are you going to do? You won't even know whether it's a Cultist or a Mafioso left out there, so GOOD LUCK with that.

In the event that your claim is true, you absolutely should care who the Bugbear is. Finding them and convincing us saves you. I'll leave it at that to save us both the time in case you're scum.

First paragraph - this isn’t true. As a survivor, you do have a vested interest in finding the faction that is currently the least situated to win. This would be the antitown factions because we have identified so many of them and have a group of roleblockers to help. So yes, you do have to contribute to finding scum. You, as a survivor, do not just get to sit there and say “no don’t lynch me! Lynch the thing that can’t kill!” Functionally, lynching me is just like lynching a survivor you which you are advocating ???

Your paranoia that I am somehow lying about the cult when literally everything I’ve said has been true about cult is very much moon logic A50. I literally claimed my last cultist has a Beloved Princess ability when in reality he was vanillalized. I did that because I knew a killing role would take that bait 100% of the time.

Second paragraph - if you had done a modicum of scumhunting instead of repeating ad nauseum to kill me when every signal from night flavor, night actions, and just my general play says that is a -EV move is scummy. You did not look beyond the vail of my death when even if you were right about me still means you’d be looking for the Bugbear. That’s scummy.
