I recounted, we're only at six votes on charter :?

unvote
just in case we're L-1, anyway.

Recounting...

Jebus Unofficial Vote count:

charter (6): Megatheory, Alabaska J, Gamma, Yawetag, Jebus, Pacman
yawetag (2): Jebus, charter
Gamma (2): Nightfall
Braeden (1): Empkingā€™s Alt
Jebus (1): pacman281292
Not voting (3): Anticollie, Braeden, Spoilum

If we've got 12 people, it should be
seven (7)
for a lynch.

So don't be getting your panties in a bunch just yet.

Actually I think you're right. Seven to lynch, now at L-2 (unofficial count).

EDIT: My vote on Charter isn't there anymore, so it's 5 votes on Charter (aka L-2).

Oh, so it was just six, my bad.

Jebus, why the unvote?

I dislike claims like "Power Role", I'd like Charter to full claim (unless its a role that loses potentcy once claimed, such as BP)

I really think the case on him wasn'ty good enough for L-1.

mm... I must recheck votecounts before voting... :(

I dislike that "power claim", as it contains lot of WIFOM. I still think charter's actions and wishes of rolefishing are scummy, but lynching so early on the day, without getting enough info, is bad.

True, but I only said that because I thought I was lynched and you would see my role shortly. I'm not going to claim now because the wagon on me is still BS and you all are still going to either lynch me for nothing or drop it and my role really has nothing to do with it. Me claiming now would be like claiming out of the blue.

I think Gamma needs to be looked at, he seemed pretty pissed that a lynch he was a part of happened. Also Jebus needs to come in with why he unvoted. Yawetag is still highly suspect.

No, it would be like claiming after you already soft claimed.

So some stupid/confused townie or otherwise doesn't come in and drop the hammer unexpectedly. Mind you, I still like you as a scum.

And Empking's right - though I'm not sure I'd like a claim from you, your claiming would be like claiming after a softclaim rather than out of the blue.

To elaborate on my comment in #124:

reason or drop it.
hmm... bullshit? so why did you defend it alot?

You have already won the jackpot. congratulations.
Unvote, Vote: charter. Appeal to emotion scum. nuf said.
If he didn't address the case on him in some way, people would be calling him out for avoiding arguments.

The emboldened text appears to be condemning charter based on his response to this
damned if you do, damned if you don't
situation. Seems insidious.
Jebus wrote:

Sounds like a challenge to me.

unvote, Vote: Charter
Seems highly opportunistic, given the circumstances. While it isn't clear now whether Jebus intended to hammer, his subsequent recount implies that at the very least he placed his vote carelessly.

I'm not active lurking. I'm pointing out that you tried to lynch someone less than a week, two weeks into the game with a bad case of tunnel vision.

Not careless, just somewhat ignorant of the votecount, though I didn't see enough votes there for a hammer.

I don't really intend to lynch Charter just yet, either. I just find the bit I quoted to be a "lynch me, I dare you" in disguise, which I find to be very scummy.
Charter in 121 wrote:Congratulations, you guys just lynched a power role.
This really bothers me, and until I hear a claim, I'm going to be very wary of this.

Charter: This does not mean I want a claim; I'd prefer not.

Gamma's reaction to the thought that we'd had a lynch seems townie enough, but I'm not quite sure right now as to alignment.
Empking's Alt wrote: I really think the case on him wasn't good enough for L-1.
The count doesn't really make much difference unless it's at the hammer. L-1 is just a point leading up to hammer, and while it is somewhat dangerous to be at, it's not nearly as big a deal as people make it out to be, in my opinion.

? OK, mt sarcasmdar was off...

mm... I've not tunnelvisioned. I just realized that point on nameclaiming after rereading all, and I see that's BAD. Also, there is not so much additional thing to see other than replies. I still think that the "you lynched a power role congratulations" was WIFOM trying to not to lynch him...

But, you are true. I'll reread, see if there is some "interesting" thing, then make what I would need. But, at the moment, I'll keep my vote.

And why would I be highly suspect? Because I attacked you on wanting everyone to roleclaim, and then voted you because of it? I find that less-than-suspect.

WHAT PART OF I DIDNT FUCKING WANT EVERYONE TO ROLECLAIM DO YOU NOT FUCKING UNDERSTAND?

I SAID NAMECLAIM. THIS IS WHEN YOU CLAIM YOUR NAME. NOT YOUR ROLE. I SPECIFICALLY SAID THIS NUMEROUS TIMES.

I bolded this so maybe you can see and understand it this time. The only explaination for you being so dense is you're looking for excuses to vote people.

I think that the votes went on Charter with way too much haste. I think that yawetag is kind of overreacting and made a bit of a scene when Charter was not actually lynched. It was clear that he wasnt going to be lynched if you were paying attention to the votes.

I also find the soft claim quite ridiculous becasue a power role is a power role no matter what. The mafia (if charter is townie power role) are going to be all over that no matter what. There may be an advantage for Charter to fully claim and try to prove his innocence further.

I also think that Jebus' vote stood out as incredible careless. Scummy... IDK, but definately careless.

With the number of times I've (erroneously) used "roleclaim," this is the FIRST TIME I see you specifically reply to a post of mine to correct it. I apologize for using the wrong term. You're correct that you suggested a nameclaim.

That said, I still think it's a stupid idea, as well as your reasoning behind it.

So you're suspicious of me because of your own inability to read? That's rich.

Nightfall is definately scum, he has still not added anything to this game. Yawetag is also scum.

Braeden is also highly suspect because he doesn't seem to ever take a stance on people. Always is giving wishy washy reads. I could vote any of you three.
