TwoHeadedBoy would like to tell Tuniogen to stop using an over-used, unfunny and disruptive posting gimmick, and hopes Slaxx does not do so when he starts posting.Tuniogen wrote:And Pie, Tuniogen would like you to elaborate on your comment about Tuniogen's analysis of Shado, specifically how Tuniogen supposedly knows Shado is town. That said, it's just the general feel of your entry. Especially the "advice" you give him. It's different than just calling him frustrated/newb town. Something doesn't feel right.

You know, with the time it took you to argue with me, you could have posted a read on Yasuda and us.

Interesting you say that, because I got the same read from this post. Especially after you helped push the bandwagon to where it is(was) then just jumped off and called it a town read. I don't see what was town telling at all in Shado's play there. I agree with the result (somewhat), I just don't see how you got there.TwoHeadBoy wrote:UNVOTE: ShadoWolf
He’s displaying the frustrated town meta. Pretty sure Shado is town, albeit not town that’s playing very well. I’d much rather lynch scum than a townie playing anti-town.
I agree there's likely scum on that wagon. I got the scummiest gut read off of LL, can't really back it up though.
@anyone: The two heads of a hydra can talk to each other during the day right? This is probably an idiotic question but I'm just wondering about if I'll see conflicting reads from the heads or something like that.
And fwiw it looks like I'll be going slowly for the beginning of this game. I'm not familiar with these avatars so it's taking me forever to read the thread and actually comprehend it and trying to read both heads of the hydras is something I've never done either.- TwoHeadedBoy

Big difference between a town read and implying you know someone is town, ortiz1193. Richard/Tuniogen gives Shado "the benefit of the doubt" (meaning he's still scummy, but scummy things you can forgive, which isTERRIBLE) and gives him advice. We, on the other hand, just read Shado as a townie.
As for pushing the wagon to where it was: that's just an outright lie. +1 misrep. We were one of the last people on it (Exe, yasuda, Lamb, Scott, Beef,us), the vote was mostly pressure because of poor play, and I think that pressure showed a frustrated townie. So that's how we got there since you seem to be curious about our reasoning.
Don't concern yourself with reading both heads of a hydra, just read the slot.

Vote placement has nothing to do with the degree of pushing, not sure why you tried to use that as a defense.- Tuniogen

That's where you're wrong, Fugi. Tuniogen warned Shado to start posting in a more protown manner. "Straighten up and fly right" was not advice, and Tuniogen isdefinitelynot forgiving Shado's actions thus far. You know Tuniogen better than that.ShowTun - Tungsten

@ortiz1193 - I'll keep in mind that giving reasons for a vote and talking to a person when they ask for explanations (bits you left out when you give out of context quotes) is pushing.
+1 misrep again.

Nitpick: This response doesn't sound appropriate for someone who is supposedly 'frustrated town'. It sounds more like scum a. Relieving mental stress, b. Going for tiny town brownie points and c. Attempting to make someone who, while interested in his lynch, less keen on pursuing it. Seeing as a followup comment was made (again by a third person, much like the frustrated town comment) with the standard 'there's scum in this wagon' safe approximation, Mafuyu wonders if the situation is being diffused a bit too quickly.ShadoWolf wrote:Preview Edit:

Well... that wagon was useless. Faterage was sadly missing as well.
I think ShadoWolf has the wool pulled over everyone's eyes who think he's acting frustrated town. It's not as if this has been going on for a huge amount of time. That would be the quickest snap ever... and his emotions are kept in check several times through his crisis. I know we are multiple personalities and all, but it seems a bit of an act to me.

I don't like THB's words "legitimately scummy" for Shado's actions. Sounds a lot like "Yay, I've found somebody I can look town by accusing and it sounds sort of sensible!"
I agree that frustration under pressure can be a towntell, but I don't think Shado demonstrated it convincingly. Mafuyu pointing out that he was fully aware of having less than half the necessary votes is a good point, and in general, I did not get much "this is BS!" vibes from Shado. But I find THB scummier for this than Shado because I see this as more of the same pointing out common ideas to look like a contributor without checking closely for how well they apply to the situation (as a townie actually trying to figure things out would). The back and forth misrepping accusations also feel like this to me.
Accusing people of lining up lynches this early in the game Also sounds like fishing for reasons to find someone scummy. I don't see scum expecting to be able to line up lynches at this point, so unless there is a followup later I don't see this action as "planning lynches." It looks more to me like pointing out a potential scumlink, which is useful content. Again THB looks like scum excited to have found something they can accuse as being buzzword X, fitting into the pattern of "Yay, I've found something to point out without looking bad!"
"(meaning he's still scummy, but scummy things you can forgive, which is TERRIBLE)"
Is another THB statement which felt to me like a player getting very excited (enough to bold and caps the statement) about being able to throw in a "legitimate" looking accusation edgewise against another player.
I agree with Ortiz that THB characterizing their actions as not-pushing seems innaccurate, though I don't see why scum or town is more likely to innaccurately characterize their actions this early on. Ortiz, why do you think this is scummy?
I don't see how Elli voting no-lynch is particularly scummy; he knows enough not to actually want to no-lynch, and that NL votes tend to do what other RVS votes do, which is produce discussion.- ShadoWolf

I was merely telling someone that I was at L-5 or so, not trying to get him off my wagon at all. In fact, Exe is one of my most vocal opponents in this argument, and so it would be much more difficult to sway him than it would anyone else (Except maybe Lady)Mafuyu wrote:

Why is he getting away with this style of posting? I try to defend my NL position, and I get votes piled up on me almost immediately. He doesn't try to defend it, and no-one bats an eyelid.Ellibereth wrote:

The Wolf stumbles in the shadows.
They are a creature of the Moon
Not the Dark.
Accusing others of that which you yourself did
Lashing out in the darkness
Wondering why no one circles the other as
They circled you
The bloody howl of a dying Wolf.
A sad sound.
The rest of his pack abadoned him.
He falls prey to the light.
