This is what it comes down to really. I dont think its the best for him (not sure whats better)... just dont think its a good path. Despite not being popular on the GD side of the site, UN is probably in the top 10% of players right now and if he thinks its at all a knock against his play, that makes it a bad title.
Something like
Michael Vick of Mafia
for UN (plug in Tiger Woods, Alex Rodriguez, etc depending on sport preference) is better. Reflects being a talented player and at the same time very unpopularPosted: Wed Nov 21, 2012 7:29 pm

Top 10% most recognizable, definitely. Top 10% quality, almost definitely not. He's probably top 50%, because he's not terrible, or not even bad, really, but he's not one of the elite players by a long shot.

I would take him over a whole lot of people for who I think is a good player, I think a lot of the "he isnt good" comes from the fact that people who dont like him dont WANT him to be good. Real life... yeah top 10% is really pushing it... but forum he is someone I would much much rather have in my faction. He is different but is quite effective when he tries to be an is right more than the average player.

I just realized I never explained this to you, TBM. I'm sorry.
Klick, a.k.a. Kondi2424 used to be a chronic lurker and flaker that never seemed to finish a game unless it was a scum game and even sometimes he wouldn't finish those. Then, over the summer this past year something happened and Kondi stopped replacing out.
Then he started playing on Klick to try out a new name for himself and he is quickly rising as one of the better scum players on the site (in my opinion) (fucking autocorrect).
It is quite amazing how he can go from a player that is very likely to be placed on blacklists for his inactivity to being a player that actually plays very well. I have seen a common statement pop up these past few months "I do not think we should be suggesting titles that encourage bad behavior". This title goes directly against that in a way that I think is simply wonderful for the community as a whole. Kondi's "resurrection" is exactly the type of behavior that I think we should be encouraging.
Born again obviously does not have to be the title that he gets and I am sure there are much better ones out there that potentially reflect his personality or his play, but it is succinct without getting dramatic and I like that.

sounds like the title we'd be giving him if he hadn't improved, and instead fallen back into the sissy-like ways of flaking every game. I mean yeah I get you're trying to make the obvious connection that he used to be Kondi, but I think that aspect of the title should already be understood to anyone who knows him. Instead of another that's-the-joke.jpg title I think we should be looking for a title that illustrates his determination to change for the better.If you want something that'll make you laugh quietly to yourself, at least consider something more subtle. Like how

Fairly sure he made a new account to escape the Kondi name, so referencing it in a title probably wouldn't appeal to him.

Eh he's replaced out of 4 recently but it felt like he had a passable excuse for 3 of them. If there's any real reason to doubt that he deserves the title it's probably due to his flaking from Newbie 1288, which I'm sure you're quite fond of Tierce. I don't think that behavior is beard-worthy, nor does it have any place in Newbie games. So yea, my opinion is to hold off on Klick's title and perhaps look at possibilities in a month or two.
