I doubtless know a number of things that the rest of you do not, just as you know things I do not.
I wasn't aware that I was 'too eager' though. I'll try to restrain myself to normal levels of eager.

People should totally speed lynch you now though.

Sakura, do you not believe in the power of the town?
Thor, would you care to explain why people should lynch me with such haste?

If I was defending anyone, it was Syncorax, not Nekoko.

Irish is a tempting person to vote, though I will hold mine until everyone has at least posted something. He can easily be super nervous townie, or super nervous scum based on what he has posted so far

@ Irish, I do not have any scum-spects thus far.

as for why I was defending her, She also gives me some town vibes so I feel inclined to protect who I perceive to be town.

Who would you say is the most scummiest? (This question goes for everyone.)
Marangal, why would I hold my vote if I was scum?

The thing is that your previous post gave me the impression that you were trying too hard to appear town.

I'm just trying to hold off those who accuse me of being scum by using logical fallacies.

Hey, does speed-lynching end the day like days early? 'Cause that could easily influence my votes. :shifty:

when the ammount of votes required for lynch are reached, day ends and person gets lynched regardless of how much time left the day has, then night begins.

A question for all again (pardon my excessive enquiring):
Lynch All Liars, yay or nay?

Thanks, Sakura, that makes me happy.

It's a good general rule. Vanilla Town doesn't need to lie. It's important to try to figure out if the 'lie' you think you see isn't a town special trying to avoid being outed, though.

Definitely not, for the most part, I do not like any type of Policy lynching. It's a good place to start, however it does not leave room for gambits and false-claims. It does not have it's place here, but elsewhere I wouldn't use it

It's interesting exploring different mafia cultures. I recently played a game elsewhere where a MS player pulled a gambit that went horribly awry because it did not work with the mafia culture of that site.

I wouldn't policy lynch a liar, but I might very likely lynch them.

UNVOTE: Sakura
VOTE: Thor665
Guys quick hammer now.
This guy is really really useless, just asking the same questions, not willing to be open on his read on me or Sakura, and doesnt seem to have ANY other reads that he has shared.

Also he outright lied when he said he was in 'RVS', and he voted for Sakura. Then a few posts later, he said that his vote was for Sakura being scum without offering ANY explanation.

Posted: Sun Apr 21, 2013 1:56 pm
by Sakura Hana
I don't see any issue on him at this point? he explained the RVS as his IC role is supposed to, but he never mentioned that his vote was random at any point, did he?

What's the scum motivation behind hiding his reasons for his scum reads?

I'm really back to Shawn looking scummier than other players so far. he's very eager to get someone lynched in spite of the long time frame we have.

From my PoV that was a reaction test, i dont think scum would initiate a reaction test, they would usually hide and join a BW when they see the chance.
sycorax wrote:I'm really back to Shawn looking scummier than other players so far. he's very eager to get someone lynched in spite of the long time frame we have.
He has been eager since the start of the day, but it could also be a newbie player being eager to lynch someone and hope for them being scum.

Other than that, yeah i'd agree it looks scummy, but i'll give him the benefit of doubt until i see more posts from him.

The scum motivation is that he cant explain his reads properly or is scared to because he might be pressured on specific points. Its easier to defend general stuff rather than specific stuff.
Uselessness is a scumtell, because its difficult to be useful when you dont actually have to scumhunt.

Sycorax, is recklessness a townie or scummy trait? Why is wanting to lynch someone scummy?

Posted: Sun Apr 21, 2013 2:30 pm
by Sakura Hana
Because there's not much to go on, and we need more discussion, we got plenty of time to discuss and find scumtells, why would we want to risk a mislynch?

Also Nekoko i see you lurking.

Lynch All Lurkers? :P
Just because someone is not contributing "correctly" to the game, doesn't mean they're scum. I say "correctly" because everyone has a different definition for it, so YOU are the one definitely looking scummy. Shawn is probably number one in my scum list.

Uselessness is not a scumtell in the slightest.

first off, Thor is an IC and he's a bold, aggressive player. Him being scared of being pressured on specific points is something I find to be highly unlikely, and I think your scum motivation for him doing what he did to be to specific, and traits that can also be found in town.

TOwn can be scared of being pressured of specific points, and Town can definitely have trouble with explaining their suspicions.

Pedit: Don't like that PL either.
