Saying feel free to ml you is THE SAME EXACT THING as saying if you were lynched it would be a ml. Is English your first language?
Also there is a difference between TRYING TO CONVINCE people that I am town and STATING that I am town. Please post a specific example of the words I said in post 69 where I was actually attempting to convince anyone that I am town.
Stating it once is one thing. Stating it over, and over, and over again is another.
In the beginning I was not attacking you. Originally I was attempting to read you by pointing out some scummy things you had done. You happened to be the only one i thought was scummy. Fear has done quite a few scummy things, but I think it's too over the top to be scummy. If you think I'm attacking you now, it's because of the back and forth, and because I think you are scum, which I stated first in 71. In 73 I asked you a question.
I said you called me out, I didn't say you were attacking me. Please read more carefully.
If you're scum you don't want to vote someone who is voting you but you do want to attack someone who you feel is attacking you.
Oh, that's funny:
VOTE: Xiao Long
Here you are voting someone who is voting you.
This all goes back to you stating you don't know what cop would do because you have never played as cop.
Another example of reading only what you want to read. I said I wouldn't know what
I
would do as a cop.
Xiao, please do not claim until someone says that they want to hammer you.
You mean don't repeatedly say I'm town in an effort to convince everyone? k.

Not that this should surprise anyone but rmpea looks full of shit and Xiao looks fine.
rmpea keeps saying she didn't do things which she did, she isn't arguing that they aren't scummy, just that she hasn't done them. "I'm town" "I'm town" "Lynching me would be a mislynch" "I'm town" "Oh, I never said that I was town or that I would be a mislynch. That would be scummy"
Her support of this stupid hypothetical play doesn't help her either. She is favouring pushing the lynch onto the one guy with unpopular opinions (when there is one outspoken player that player is almost always town) and the bandwagon on that player is way too easy for this to be a day one scum lynch. I'm the only player who isn't content with this lynch so either I am scum with Xiao or Xiao is town.

I apologize again!! I know inactivity makes it impossible to be read. Anyways I'm home now and should have time to get into this game and interact a little bit.
Here are the sparknotes of my initial thoughts. General list going from most townish>>null>>scummy.
Jon
Slight town lean, despite mostly asking questions and not providing all reads. I do not like the L-1 vote.
Fear
I'm fine with his pushing. He comes off town for being upfront early reads. Content doesn't indicate alignment but it at least allows us to read him!
Several people questioned whether some of his comments can be attributed to alignment vs. personality. His one completed game that I flipped through seems to mirror his play here, so I'm alright for now.
Mr. Flay
#34: comment about Fear seems like it could be contrived.
Not really enough from him to draw conclusions though.
Jerry
Pretty meh on him.
Notquitethere
Not a fan of all the questions. Would like to lean you scum because I feel like you're under the radar right now.
Xiao
#42 and #47: I feel like mafia would be more willing to play kiss up and fall in line.
Could do with a lot less snark though. I feel like most of his posts so far have been responses to people picking on his attitude.
Gets slightly more scummy for me the more I read, like he has nothing else to contribute. Anti-town at the least.
Lortaku
Weird votes/unvotes early on and other noob tells. Can't tell if scum yet.
Doesn't seem to be trying all that hard, content to let the discussion go on around him.
Rmpeacoc
Uncomfortable with the vote in #56 when I thought RVS was over by then.
She might be characterizing/misrepping Fear a little strongly, which leans scum for me.
Same thing towards Xiao, as I never got the noob vibe from his posts, or the sense that he was trying to subtlely hide behind it.
If a player flips scum, would you be more suspicious of another player that never interacted with that scum or a player that had defended the scum player?
Absolutely. I think the number one associative tell on this site is lack of interaction. That's what players look for at LYLO when they need to find the last scum. I'm not sure about the case of a player defending scum. Buddies usually do not overtly stick out their necks for each other in that way.
If there are any questions I missed that you want me to answer, please let me know!

Pitoli, nice to see you back in the game. Are you still content with your vote being on notquitethere?

there is nothing to ask you pitoli, you have said zero things with content. After you catch up I'll grill you.
Why single me out of Xiao/rmpea/me I'm not the only one on

It was an RVS vote but eh I'm okay with it sitting there for now. At least until he is a bit more open with his reads (which he has eventually promised).

Oh, I just saw you post before and after me. Didn't realize the others were online as well.
And I at least provided some preliminary thoughts in #128, is that not content? >>

Randomly, I've only ever finished scum games on this site. This is legit my first town game and I'm finding having confidence in my own reads as town is harder than faking them as scum. Wasn't expecting that lol.

haha, I remember that feeling my first game was scum and I was damn good at it. Huge cases, coherent thoughts etc. When I was town after that I had no idea what to do. Yeah, pitoli is pretty near confirmed town. Reads align with mine, reasons align with mine. That feeling she just mentioned is authentic as hell.

Wait, you mean you've never been town, or just never finished a game as town?

I've never finished a game as town. I will try really really hard on this one.
Probably pretty shitty for an "SE" to have zero knowledge on what it is to play town alignment haha

no I've been wierded out about Flay but haven't brought it up in thread.
I like jon but its all gut.
I'm annoyed about there's questions without content.
I think the caviler Xiao is likely to be town.
Its the fact that we agree on the stuff I already brought up and the stuff I didn't. That means we see things the same way. mindset equivalency means both town. YAY.
I don't white knight as scum, its no fun. I prefer the tooth and claw down and dirty fight.

Fear, do you think your town/scum play differ quite a bit or have you gotten them to look somewhat similar?
My town and scum play are pretty different (in my opinion) but I haven't played scum in quite some time. My meta here is also totally different since this site plays out differently than TL does. I don't know how my scum play will be here when I finally do roll red but I hope I'll be able to match my town play. Thankfully I bluster more here as town and that is easier to match as scum. My goal is to have enough of a reputation by the time I do roll scum to just be able to bully people into sheeping me.
That newbie game was fun. Even though some of the players were terrible the ones who didn't replace out did a fair job of playing the game.

In that case, I find it hard to believe that chance would have you scum 9/10 times. Your reads seem town too, so I see you as almost certainly town.
I'll go ahead and give some reads for this point in the game (note, these are likely to change):
TOWN:
Jon
- Seems to be questioning pretty evenly and with a level head. Careful of putting people at L-1, generally trying not to rush things until we have all the information we need.
Pitoli
- Pretty solid reads, wants things to flesh out more from here.
LEANING TOWN:
Jerry
- Wary of putting someone at L-1 too early. Even though he's wrong in his read on me, his other reads seem reasonable. Needs to be more active and scum hunt more, though. Too idle atm.
Fear
- Very unorthodox, aggressive, rapid fire responses. Leaning more and more town as the game goes on, but I'm still cautious of him being so sure I'm town. His reasoning makes sense, but I'm a paranoid cunt on D1.
NULL:
Lortaku
-Hardly any activity, hasn't posted for three days. How long before prods?
Flay
- Not enough to go on. He's not very active. He dictates what people should do, but doesn't do much else. Votes me early based on shoddy reasoning, then uses following reasons (and an inane idea that me and Fear are scum buddies) to justify it later on. His other reads are okay, though. Not really engaging anyone, but hasn't done anything scummy enough to have him in my scumlist.
LEANING SCUM:
notquitethere
- Has a huge hard-on for hypotheticals and would rather play with that than play the game at hand. Aside from asking these hypothetical questions, he has literally done nothing in this game. He responds to peoples responses of his hypotheticals, but doesn't respond to anything else. He's not as scummy as peacoc though.
SCUM:
rmpeacoc
-Well, I've already said why. Too much worrying about people thinking she's town, arguing from ad-hominems instead of real reasonings. Dismissing issues. Not town at all. Looking at her previous games (yeah, I don't like meta, but I was curious if she's ever worthwhile), she seems to fuck over town more than anything else because of how easily swayed by scum she is. If she's town in this game, I'd still rather her be D1 lynch at this point in time.

My chance of rolling scum in this game are completely independent from my previous games. It's faulty to think, "she's been mafia three times in a row, there's no way she can be mafia again".

I felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise when I read the bolded part. Heebie jeebies.

I'm not saying it's not possible for you to be scum again, I just don't find it all that likely.
And yes, I have no problems with a townie being D1 lynch. I'd be more concerned about a townie being D2 lynch.
