I also find it 'remarkable' that bloojay posted in several games somewhat more than an hour ago and conveniently skipped this one. Maybe he needs a bit more time to think up a defense.

After Thoth's post, it may be a good idea just to kill him off now... but I guess I'll leave that up to you guys.

I know I wanted to give him another 24 hours, but if he does not bother to post here while he's on, then so be it.

And so, with the 6 votes necessary, the concensus allows control of the group's Kill-O-Zap "PlanetBuster" edition death ray, which locks upon the location of Bloojay. However, the death is help up momentarily by a sound like a thousand people saying "WOP". The countdown commenced again, halted only for a second because of the same thousand voices saying "FOOP." Then, a small, but disproportionally noisy flying party was evaporated, to the great joy of the people inhabiting the planet below it. Thor and his mighty hammer Mjollnir would never party again.

THOR, townie, gone forever. You foonting turlingdromes! You lynched a town! That's completely uncool and DEFINTELY not froody! ;)

Choices will be due SATURDAY around noon EST. If you won't be around this weekend, get them in early.

It is a commonly known fact around the more enlightened parts of the universe that delays cause more aggravation than, say, scorched milk in tea, or, say, being held prisoner in a Vogon Disconcertment Camp... though the latter is considered in the top 10 list of "most aggravating things anywhere" lists. Therefore, it is my, as management of this mafia game, my job to try and avoid aggravation as much as possible.

However, seeing as it is the weekend, an extention will be granted for those players (yes, PLAYERS) who have yet to turn in their choice.

In other news, it was found that Thor was currently in possession of the Silver Bail, though he wasn't aware of it. However, before the disintegration of the highly disreputable floating party, the Silver Bail was bailnapped by a white spaceship. Authorities assume the worst.

And the end of another Galactic Rest Period came to an end. But very few of the beings we're concerned with got any rest. Most of the activity centered around the Betelgeuse system. First there was a hundred thousand people unexpectedly saying "wop". Then there was much screaming, much wrestling of a container of ashes that had recently been pilfered from Lord's Cricket Grounds (despite a few thousand Cricket fans wishing them to remain on Earth), much agony and torment, a hundred thousand people equally unexpectedly saying "foop", and then the complete and utter immolation of the planet system Betelgeuse. Many beings were unhappy about this, but not for long.

What was not happening around Betelgeuse was parties, alcohol, and women of loose morals. So Ford Prefect, star reporter for the HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy probably was NOT better off not being alive, after all, who *IS* better off not being alive? But at least he wasn't missing much.

Dragon Phoenix, Ford Prefect, cop, immolated, along with several billion of his closest friends

It is DAY. 8 alive, 5 to lynch

*Points at title*

Well, we lost a cop and 2 more pieces of the key are taken. It looks like we have to lynch well today or we lose control of the game.

Well, we lost a cop, but at
least
we finally caught a break in that there are now
three
key parts in the hands of evil. Whew...Oh wait.

To me both of the above votes suggest Night info. If that is the case I'll happily join in with a vote. If not I would prefer a bit more reasoning before I add a vote of myself.

I do have some night info, but it's more an unreliable piece of information that I've pieced together than something I would call "a strong reason to believe he's guilty." So, by all means, go with the other bandwagon.

I'm not sure how much we shold pressure MedicatedLain to come out with more info...you know, keep evil guessing as to where the pro-town power lies.

I don't want to pressure ML to come out with more info. I just want to know whether it's based on info or more on gut feeling/thread reading. No need to reveal what the info looks like if that is it.

I thought "strong reason" would've been pretty sufficient. Anyway, there's 2 out of 5 to lynch currently, and Leo's already posted a "defense", so
